Haven’t you ever read or heard his backstory? I mean, if that’s not creative, then what is it?  
Okay, delusional would be an acceptable answer, but they’re creative delusions.
 
So, Ciaran’s a toddler drawing on the wall with his crayons.
 
And TSP, he’s more akin to a toddler in a high chair at lunchtime smearing baby food all over literally anything.
 
And neither have the capacity to realize, that they just did something wrong. Even babies learn at some point, but these guys are, like what, over thirty years old, right?

The Smiling Pony is a self admited autistic man full of frustrations and Ciaran is obviously having a midlife crisis after his endless dreams and projects went nowhere.
 
It goes without saying that both of them have different reasons to rationalize and justify everything they do no matter how bad it is, and it’s also obvious that none of them has the intention to change their minds about that. But hey, as long they keep their asshatery confined to Derpibooru and never come here to cause more of their special brand of trouble and damage, then nope, there’s no reason to keep getting mad about them and their pets.
