Video game thread

I got bored by Valhalla and quit. These new AC games just aren’t very engaging.

It’s a generic rpg type game now. It’s more fun if you stealth.

The MW2 reboot sucks off Ghost so much it’s genuinely painful.

Playing Crusader Kings II. My idiot vassals elected a bugged king, who went on a neverending pilgrimage to God knows where.

And I always play virtuous kings.
 
Except for the adultery. ( Bastards aren’t going to make themselves. )
 
And cannibalism. ( I caught my court dwarf in the food supply so I ate her. )
 
And throwing every prisoner into the oubliette until they die. ( Better for one’s reputation than an execution. )

So, I fixed it by reloading the save I made right after succession. Then I selected the heir I wanted and used the “die” console command, before unpausing so no one else would get a chance to vote.
 
I don’t like to savescum, but I’m not throwing away thirty hours of campaign because of a bug.

I wonder if I still have the story of the poor bastard whose family I viciously tormented the one time I really played the game…

My father (who is also my loyal vassal) is a satanist. Does that count for anything?

It took me several tries but I finally beat two AI players at mid-high tech in about one hour. The trick was to have several refineries close to mineral patches and about twice as many harvesters. Re-route the harvesters to other patches when they run out of ore. That keeps a steady source of income which enables you to push troops out non-stop and replace anything that gets destroyed.

Looky what I found! For anyone who loves and misses the old Tony Hawk games as much as I do, you can go to this site and download cracked PC versions of them for free.
