Vent Thread

My sister’s husband came home early from work today because he was sick and has to go get a Covid test tomorrow. Let’s hope his test comes back negative or other wise I won’t be able to see my sister for a while.

Okay granted, I’ll give you that. I won’t complain for their absence.  
But you can have a decently sized community that doesn’t have people like that in it as well. It’s a false dichotomy to say communities have to be small or they will absolutely get people like that in it. Maybe once you get past a certain size threshold, the chance of attracting the…let’s call them “undesirables”…becomes much higher. But I think we still got a ways to go before that.
 
And regardless, doesn’t change the fact that the shitstorm didn’t really hurt DB that much. Sure, there are more people bitching and moaning about it on the site….but they’re still using the site. They’re still going back to their abusive boyfriend, unlike us who decided to burn that bridge and come here instead.

I stay in Derpi because I’m benign enough to not cause much of a stir.  
I still make some folks uncomfortable though,but whatevs.  
I draw Fargate and everyone seems to have forgotten her origin.

I couldn’t stay in Derpibooru. Ciaran slandered me, and harassed me , and denied it all to the point I just felt too uncomfortable to actually be a part of that community as long as he remained on it.

I’ve only been harassed a little.

Maybe I’m recognized partially because even though I’ve been on Derpi for years,I’m only just this last year been more prominently active. I got my own phone finally.

 
I am now imagining an image of a poorly drawn drunk lyra making random snarky jokes in a cave full of draconies as hyperactive as Pinkie Pie on caffeine, that spout pure nonsense at each other while pretending they’re having a conversation. All the while the cave walls are being plastered with power rangers memes.
 
And occasionally, they share images of ponies
