It was a Mr. Pepper. I won a 16 ounce Mr. Pepper once in the 90s. I kept the cap because it was the only time I ever won. It’s in my desk drawer with the caps off Fruitopia and Mistic Rain Forest Nectars. Speaking of which, Fruitopia used to come in glass bottles, which tasted great, and then they switched to plastic bottles which tasted like ass. The last time I saw a glass bottle was at a tourist location called the Delaware Water Gap. That’s where the Delaware River makes a U-turn in the mountains. Going there was like going back in time 20 years. There was a Fruitopia vending machine covered in dust and spider webs that looked like no one had touched it since it was first installed. That machine still had glass bottles and it still tasted great.

I hate it when Football games go over time and effect shows I’m trying to record.

Yup that is sure what I meant.

The PC parts market is so beyond fucked right now. No one can find a damn GPU in stock or without paying well beyond its actual value. The CPU market isn’t much better right now. I mean fuck, even some of the better power supplies are selling above MSRP or are just completely out of stock.
 
Sucks for me since a portion of my income is from building PCs as a side gig for local people. Sucks for everyone else a lot more when they need an upgrade or don’t even have a PC to speak of right now. Fuck COVID, fuck scalpers, and fuck crypto mining whales and the GPU manufacturers for directly supplying them over their gaming/typical use customers.

With how things are currently going, unless you get insanely lucky and snag a GPU off a restock from an online retailer like newegg, or unless you live within driving distance of a microcenter, its unlikely that you’ll find a GPU anywhere near its proper price in the next 2-3 months based on what I’ve seen and estimations from industry insiders.
