I don’t know if it’s even worth it; they know what he’s like. He’s not very good at it and crosses his stories. It’s just frustrating to hear. “He doesn’t do anything around here and he never helps with anything. I have to do everything. I don’t even have an hour to myself” Motherfucker, I keep the dishes that ya’ll run through like a restaurant washed, I take care of three dogs that I didn’t want which includes picking up their shit all day because taking them out two and three times a day just isn’t enough and I frequently find my days, and sometimes entire weeks, canceled to take care of our dementia-addled 90-something year old grandmother, which you have never done ONCE. Don’t you sit there and claim to have to do everything around the house just because you’re expected to help with the grocery run and change the litter for the cat that you insisted on bringing home after years of complaining about having too many animals every week, and mow the rather small yard every two (or three, depending on the rain).
Spends five hours a day sitting in the laundry room smoking and chatting with friends, and his night banging on that fucking anvil at four in the morning making knives. Then acts like I’m the asshole when I need to get in to wash my clothes and bitches if a commercial on TV is too loud and wakes him up at 10 AM.

Oh, teamwork is definitely not their thing. They’re very much a solitary and odd jobs kind of person. They’re fine normally but they just feel compelled to shout their perpetual victimization at the slightest provocation. For whatever reason they just decided that today they needed to be the glue that holds the household together.
The funniest thing was catching them a bit ago when they were telling me about a conversation that they were supposedly having with a friend. I knew how the conversation went because I listened to it last night. On Rooster Teeth’s Let’s Play channel. Their newest Stoneblock video. I just said “oh yeah. I remember when Lindsay said that”. Conversation fell flat faster than a hedge fund manager.

Or in my case “as you were booting up for the day and only had audio up & running”. I find those videos a bit easier to believe than others for obvious reasons.
