I’m not sure what you mean. I condemned people behaving like clowns on Capitol Hill on the grounds of being gigantic idiots who walked into an obvious Democrat photo-op trap. And I condemned people who broke windows because property damage is a crime.
 
I don’t agree that what happened on the 6th is an Insurrection. If that’s what counts these days, remind me to regail you with stories about the “Insurrections” against the education system that my classmates participated in every time school had a muckup day.

My dad didn’t make it, his organs got damaged so much by covid and underlying issues like cidp, he passed away immediately after he was pulled off the ventilator. At least he went quickly and peacefully. He was 70 years old, and I’m at least happy I spent 25 years of my life with him around.

I find the whole “End of Derpibooru” tag to be frustrating in how insincere it is. To clarify, it’s not that I’m unsympathetic to the sentiment, merely that I don’t think it’s an accurate reflection of reality.
 
As near as I can tell, I’m always seeing the same forty people pop up in every forum or comment thread on this site. The featured images on this site average a vote total around 25-50 votes on average, with a handfull of them managing to make it into the 100s. Only one made it to the 200s, and that was back when the site first started.
 
Meanwhile, DB is still drawing in thousands. I hate to rain on the parade, but I can’t but feel this particular celebration is a little premature. v.v

In my opinion the tag was more of joke than anything. Any post that showed like the website on fire or were critical of the staff got the tag. I knew derpi wasn’t going anywhere, but it was funny to watch.
 
The tag does have merit though. By searching it we can see what happened at that point even years from now. Good for archiving.

At first I just thought it was only my uploads getting low votecounts because there was just no audience for me here, but after watching for months the reality is that even images by amazing artists need to be featured if you expect a reasonable chance of it getting more then 10 votes. Sitewide, that is the case right now. It shows that there’s not a lot people that are active here.

We are definitely a smaller community, but quite a few of us prefer that. It’s more laid back and you get to know people better. But over time the user base will grow. I started with maybe 5 notifications to around 20 now.

I would tale quality over quantity anytime.
 
This place might be much smaller, but you don’t have to deal with shitposters who purposely try to derail threads and provoke everyone out of manchild malice, and neither we have to put up with boiling mad morons raging about politic bullshit they don’t even understand in the first place, without forgetting ow nice it feels to be in a place free of the same cringelords who only talk about their depression and wish to kill themselves because they are unhappy with their lives but don’t want to do anything to improve it because it’s “boring” or what have you.
 
We also have way less parrots than derpibooru, which is something to feel grateful for as well.

I once followed a woman on my walk a few years ago who had a little tiny mean dog (the tiny ones are all assholes) and that thing must have been nothing but a bag filled with piss because it stopped and pissed on every single upright object it passed. It must have pissed 20 times on that street.
