Last Wednesday I got some French chocolate manufactured in Germany for some reason. Maybe it’s German chocolate that markets itself as being French, who knows. It’s amazing. It activates taste buds I didn’t know I had.
It made me start to think to other times I’ve had European chocolate. It’s clean and smooth like butter. American chocolate is hard and waxy and tastes like lemon juice or something is in it as an added ingredient to make it not as good. I don’t know what it is. There’s just something wrong about American chocolate.
