I know most of Midwest is in a snow drought.

The last time it snowed down here, I was too young to form a memory of it.

The last white Christmas we had was about 3 years ago.

I never liked snow. It’s cold and wet and irritating,and it melts everywhere.

Texas, central to southern region, it has snowned only twice in significant amounts in my lifetime. Did have a snowball fight once.

That pretty much my parents. I don’t mind snow it’s pretty when it’s laying flat on the ground undisturbed.

Drove into town today and the line to get a starbucks stretched out into the road.
 
I had to wait in that line to get my intersection and I didn’t want a starbucks.

I went into a Starfucks once and asked if any of their coffee was fair trade certified. The person behind the counter looked at me like I had two heads.

I expect people to know what products they are selling. Imagine going to a shoe store and asking if they sell a certain type of shoe and the person standing there drools and says “Duh, I don’t know I just work here.” That’s literally these people’s job to know what coffee they sell. Especially since the company bills itself as the Apple of coffee, they should be training these people in all the hipster coffee lingo.

There’s a big difference between knowing what’s in the store and knowing the supply chain that led to it getting there.

It’s ok, I’m not really a Christmas guy either. It’s a hypocritical holiday where people think they’re good just because they did a little charity and fought the good fight…for 1 month out of 12!

No I love Christmas. It’s for other reasons.

You take Christmas week off and lose 3 twatter followers because you’re not aggressively shitposting every single day. Fuck them.

Tomorrow is just another day to me. That being said I won’t be having Christmas with my family due to covid. This is more of a precaution I’m not sure if anyone in my family has it or not. Also it finally snowed here.

Well, my plans for this christmas had to be cancelled because of a possible Corona infection at the house where a few friends and I were going to meet.  
Let’s hope it ends up as a scare and nothing else.
