Those demos are content that I didn’t ask for. Same goes for that album. Regardless of reason, forcing shit I didn’t ask for into my account is forcing shit that I didn’t ask for into my account. Doesn’t matter if it’s a demo, a free album or whatever else. If I wanted it, I would have gone out and got it for myself. If you want to get the news out that you’re giving something away, that’s what email and inboxes are for. Or those ads that come up when you start up Steam, in its case.
 
Also you’re fooling yourself if you think they weren’t hoping that you’d like the album and go buy some of the band’s other work.

This. When I first got Windows 10, it auto installed candy crush all the time. I don’t want garbage like that filling up my hard drive just cause someone wants to promote their shitty products.

How about Windows 10 auto-installing ITSELF even when you told it not to? When people weren’t accepting it, Microsoft’s solution was to insert malware (because that’s what a program that steals away control of your system fucking is) into one of their generic updates without listing it in the patch notes. What did it do? Forcibly change the setting back to acceptance. You’d tell it “no”, close the window and it would immediately go back to “yes”. And, surprising no one, a lot of people got fucked when the installation borked. And we know that’s what they did because if you removed that update, it stopped switching itself.

My new PC came with a free trial norton antivirus and now I won’t shut up about buying it.

Does McAfee even do anything? It didn’t seem to the one time I had it. At one point it placed little ratings next to sites on google results pages but then stopped doing that for some reason.

I don’t know. All I know about it is that it’s really fucking annoying.

Boy Norton anti-virus is super annoying especially one it runs when the computer is not active. McAfee is really bad I had it not stop a virus when we got on our computer years ago.

A conversation turned to the psychological importance of physical contact and I realized that I can’t recall the last time I touched someone else and now it’s kind of fucking with me.

I remember at my old job I used to be some sort of technical investigator, then they made me a receptionist, then they eliminated a department and had me listen to complaints all day, then I quit. I was also making about 20% less than people who just walked in the door, people whose mistakes I had to constantly correct. About 30% of my job was fixing the mistakes other people made because they were promoted after a month when I’d been there for 2 years. Another 30% of my job was telling clients their stats because the boss refused to add one line of code to the website to allow clients to see their stats on their homepage. I could have eliminated a third of my workload just by putting a few numbers on a website. Instead they wanted me to read the numbers to people over the phone I’m guessing just to keep me busy.

I do like my current job more than my old job.  
I was a dairy/frozen clerk at the grocery store. Even though I was supposed to be part-time,I regularly had 40+ hour workweeks.  
Not bad,but when I’m trying to get an art career going,it really eats up my time. Especially irritating when they’d have me come in for 8 and a half hours when there’s no new load in,and so they have me do someone else’s job.

Somewhat. Last time was many years ago and someone asking “when’s the last time you had a hug”. That was a bit more specific and the answer wasn’t as long.

Something wrong with the new scanner. It can scan one thing perfectly then stops working and I have to shut it off and turn it back on.

I don’t remember when was last time I touched someone, but I know I washed myself immediately after.
