The world’s longest car is “The American Dream”, a very heavily modified 1976 Cadillac Eldorado limousine that was stretched to 100 feet in length.
Built in 1986 the car was “only” 60 feet long originally but underwent a major rebuild from 2019 - 2022 for $250,000, nearly doubling the length.
“The American Dream includes material pleasures fit for a king; a large waterbed, a swimming pool complete with a diving board, jacuzzi, bathtub, mini-golf course, a helipad, and can fit more than 75 people!”
It was built as a novelty vehicle and when popularity waned it was put away in a warehouse in New Jersey (where dreams go to die).
Michael Dezer, owner of the Dezerland Tourist Attractions, bought the car in 2019 for his car museum in Orlando, Florida. The car was cut in half and shipped on two trucks. When it arrived it was reassembled and refurbished and now is on public display along with these other oddities.
