My parents told me it was called the ‘five second rule.’

I used to call it the ‘five minute rule.’ I think I stopped doing that after my mom gave me shit for picking up a cookie off the ground in a parking lot and eating it (In my defense, the school store sold them for fifty cents each, which was a lot of money back in those days).
