What gets me about the tradcons is they have a loser complex. They insist on only identifying with losers and insisting that those losers are really the winners for losing. They hate Christianity* because they hate Jews and think Christianity is an outgrowth of Judaism, when it’s not. The Old Testament religion is definitively NOT talmudic Judaism that exists after AD 70. But the tradcons say they don’t want to have the religion of their enemies so they become pagan. Only they never adopt like Greek and Roman paganism. You never see a tradcon worship Zeus or Apollo. They never worship Etruscan gods. The Confederacy believes in “states rights” so much that states that joined didn’t have the right to outlaw slavery, and before the war they forced through congress the fugitive slave act so even states that had no slavery were forced to abide by the will of slave states. That’s how much they loved “states rights”. States had the “right” to accept slavery or they had the “right” to shut up about it and accept it anyway even if they didn’t want to.

Trads identify with imperial Germany in WW1 because poor Germany just wanted their “place in the sun”. That’s why they were engaged in an arms race with Britain to be the dominant superpower on the planet, because their place wasn’t second place, it was first place. The country that hadn’t even existed for 40 years thought it was superior to countries that were already a thousand years old at the time and had spread European civilization to every continent while the German princelings were busy incesting each other and building knockoff monuments. So Germany started a war it couldn’t won, and lost, and then blamed Jews even though the Kaiser could have just said to the Austrians “The prince you wanted to get rid of is dead, cool it.
