I wholeheartedly agree.
I enjoy having an air conditioned building with a large bed inside it.
I enjoy having a garage I can park my car inside.
I enjoy having a large refrigerator and pantry full of food.
And I honestly don’t understand how anyone can have a fulfilling life without a mailing address in a fixed location.

I wouldn’t mind going off and living in the jungle or with some undiscovered tribe. Van life seems a little like cabin in the woods life. Most of the downsides, none of the benefits.

A growing number of people are questioning why no one wants to go downtown anymore. I wonder if it could have anything to do with the following factors.
  1. Loose thugs
  2. Panhandling parasites
  3. Insane leftist policies (like mask mandates, encouraging the thugs to attack you, painting political slogans on roads, banning straws, and closing roads to traffic so the parasites have more space to roam)
  4. Traffic, often worsened by #3
  5. Parking charges
  6. Commercial offerings appealing only to the narrow range of people who live in and are accepted in the downtown
  7. Active disdain for everything modern civilization represents

I almost never look at the front page and I filter as much shit that I don’t want to see as possible. All I think about is that cute episode with the singing. That was a good one.
