All the talk about “masculinity” and “testosterone is declining” is a crock of shit. It misses the point entirely. The whole argument is “The reason we can’t have nice things is x” where x is whatever retarded thing retards want to believe in, in this case it’s disposable men and testosterone.
That’s another thing about the manuresphere is they simultaneously believe that men are essential to make the world function and without men doing all the dirty dangerous work civilization would collapse, and at the same time men are disposable because 10,000 years ago supposedly if half the men died nothing would happen because a single alpha chad could impregnate the entire village (how would the village even still exist if there’s just one man doing all the work that only men do?) but if half the women died then civilization would collapse because vageen is magic or something. These people claim to believe in evolution but at the same time: 1. don’t believe human population follows the same pattern of every other species (overshooting like it did now and then declining back to its equilibrium level, like it’s doing now, the so called “demographic collapse” fake bullshit disaster that’s not happening), 2. suppose situations that literally never happen (like one sex dying out and leaving the other totally intact, or the bullshit Kermit the Fraud Peterson Carnosaur diet of meat and salt and nothing even though if you look at actual hunter gatherers like 80% of their diet is plants), and 3. ignore the reality that technology has supplanted evolution while simultaneously believing it as the underpinning of their bullshit population collapse catastrophe (meaning humans use technology to support supposedly a trillion people squeezed into Texas with food grown by rapidly diminishing artificial fertilizer and ground water, thereby overcoming the natural equilibrium population of less than 1 billion people the planet can support, and at the same time believing that men need to hunt bears and shit and have through the roof testosterone and die of a heart attack at age 40 and live in a van and do manual labor out in the woods with other men while saying “no homo” every 5 minutes because that’s really fucking gay and not have any feelings or you’re a fag who has to say “no homo” every 5 minutes because you slap other men on the ass and compare your physique to other men you hang out with naked making grunting sounds lifting things at the gym even though technology has made men 100x more productive with a 2x lifespan over just a century ago).

You hear stories about your grandfather and great grandfather who died in their 40s or 50s from a heart attack eating the supposedly great carnivore diet with zero soy or high fructose corn syrup or artificial estrogen that food has today, and they lifted things and did manual labor with other men and came home and smoked like a chimney and drank themselves into the grave, for what? Do you REALLY want that? Do you want to break your back working and die early so your son can do the same? A thousand years is an extreme over-estimate for how long Rome was relevant, especially for the behavior you describe. That picked up in the late republic as a way for the wealthy to buy power among the populace, which continued into the empire as a way to preserve stability. It was hardly a source of strength, but rather a sign of inherent weaknesses which eventually led to its collapse.
However, a second part of my take on Rome is one you might like more: the fact it was controlled so heavily by landed elites who rarely did anything useful was an inverted form of the same weakness. Passively profiting off the masses isn’t much different than welfare. Near-slavery of the population, then handing them back what was essentially stolen from them, isn’t exactly the concept of charity I was mocking. I doubt many Roman elites were doing it for a warm happy feeling.
