Jordan Peterson is worse than a PUA. They have totally opposite min-maxing strategies.
A PUA wants men to maximize benefit at the expense of cost. They want men to maximize fun and minimize responsibility.
Jordan Peterson wants men to maximize cost at the expense of benefit, maximizing responsibility and minimizing fun. At that point any man who isn’t an idiot has to ask “What the hell is in it for me?”
The PUA strategy (which is totally unattainable by design, since it’s a grift) is to “spin plates*, lift weights, and get a six-figure passive income.” The desperate man who buys into the program is doomed to fail so the PUA can extract more and more money from him.
*Spinning plates is being a manwhore. The morality is the same, the difference is the difficulty level is ratcheted up to 11.
Jordan Peterson’s strategy is also a grift, and its promise of success is equally impossible to attain. He wants men to work long hours in jobs they hate, get married to old women, have kids they can’t afford, and then the wife divorces him, runs off with Tyrone, and the man loses all his money and property and is a wage slave for life paying for kids he’ll never see and a woman he’ll never have sex with. Then the man gets hooked on antidepressants and ends up living in the gutter or in prison or dead because he can’t afford to detox in a luxury clinic in Germany for millionaire guru psychiatrists.
