As for capitalist vs. socialist/communist, there’s no difference in the end. It ends up being the same (((people))) running things. In capitalism, the corporations control the government and in socialism the government controls the corporations. In both cases, the government and corporations end up as one entity. Either way, you lose. It’s like the mega-corporations that own all of the competing brands in a sector. It is a facade.

I have no problem with Stalin himself, but the entire system was prepared to jump right back to where it was destined the moment he was gone, and that is exactly what it did. Marxism was always an inherently depraved ideology that denied any differences other than class differences.

Besides, my point was that there is always a front man, but the real power is elsewhere. I don’t doubt Fink has some power and wealth himself, but that’s conditional upon publicly unstated requirements. He’s “chairman and CEO” - that means he is only there to do the bidding of the board of directors, who themselves are doing the bidding of others. It goes all the way down the line and you will rarely hear the names of those who are really in power. Sometimes it is hidden better than others. Trump and his kids.

I think people focus way too much on illuminati-esque boogeymen. At that level it’s just a sticky web where everyone has as much blood on their hands as anyone else.

I think it’s less of a committee and more of a small group playing a giant chess game against each other and we’re all pawns.

Opened up wikipedia to look at the Kunlun mountains (they’re still pretty good with some stuff like geography) and the pic on the front page immediately set off this connection in my mind.
