The local businesses around here were pretty nice places to work when the old man that founded them was still alive. The kids that inherited all the money and all the businesses, as is often the case, are pieces of shit. Same thing happened a town over with a different family. I don’t get how the rich that are genuinely good, down to earth people end up with kids that grow up to be generic rich assholes.

“Rags to rags in three generations” is a well known phenomenon in business. In short, the kids and grandkids of entrepreneurs don’t appreciate what went into making a business, and run it into the ground because they take their standing for granted.

When you buy something off Amazon or leave a review or whatever they notify you when people post questions. “Will this fit model #x?”

I look it up. The company has data sheets for all their products.

Holy shit, that’s a $960 faucet.

It’s voice activated, connected to your Amazon and Google accounts, it can make steam and has precise temperature controls, and has port and starboard attachments.

You bought a thousand dollars worth of wi-fi equipped electric water dispensing faucet and you want to know if a $5 part will fit it? You’re one stingy motherfucker. There’s also a 5 year warranty on digital parts and a lifetime warranty on physical parts, just call the manufacturer and they’ll ship whatever it is you need out to you.
