I’m obsessed with the Port Arthur massacre gunman. The fact that a literal retard with no marksmanship training could kill 20 people with 29 rounds in less than 2 minutes while aiming from the hip is so impressive.

At least the second-to last two comments gave actual reasons rather than spewing off bullshit emotional appeals in favor of shoving a baby in a fucking box like it’s an overdue library book because you don’t want to deal with the consequences of your actions.

It won’t do shit to jurors or the rabid idiot chimps in prosecution, however the trial is being recorded - so that will be proof for everyone watching it that no, you can’t kill people with STANDARD POSITION FOR APPREHENDING POTENTIALLY VIOLENT JUNKIES. You know, the stuff that is designed to keep suspect alive because you can’t get money off of dead ones?

I don’t wish to hate “progressives” (or whatever they call themselves these days) on a personal level, but the more days go by the closer I find myself to reaching that point.

I’m horrible at putting my thoughts to words, but stay with me here.
 
Don’t get me wrong, if woot, joey, DH, or any other of their ilk were on fire I wouldn’t even piss on them. But I still believe a decent amount of self-admitted progressives are misled, misinformed, or straight up manipulated. If not because leftist goals and “morals” are shilled harder than any religious cult could hope to, then because opposition to these goals feels practically verboten in nearly every public forum/social media that isn’t already an echo chamber for the right.
 
I don’t want to hate them by default because I don’t believe the entire group genuinely thinks the world is black and white, where the choice between “their side” and “my side” is a binary choice between good and evil. The loudest voices, perhaps, but not the average person who makes a few youtube comments or stands in a crowd for six hours. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s better to wait until one gives me a reason not to hate. I don’t know. It’s certainly appealing when you see people wishing injury, death, or imprisonment on someone they’ve never met because you don’t agree with them on every topic.

People don’t want more facts, they want a story to make sense of the world.

So true, and it continues to show, because last night there was another huge riot in Minneapolis and in Brooklyn Center over the death of another young black man who thought it was smart to move his hands around in his car while he was wanted by the police for carrying an illegal weapon.

Business leaders and CEOs from some of the world’s largest corporations recently met during a Zoom meeting to discuss how together they can fight election integrity laws, like the voting law recently passed in Georgia.
 
All the people who said corporations are people and they should be allowed to do whatever they want are now complaining when they’ve banded together into an actual conspiracy to take control of the planet.
 
I thought Theodore Roosevelt was an evil “progressive” who wanted to insert government control into the precious free market by breaking up the trusts to limit the power of unelected, unimpeachable overlords who only care about making money? Dude, between the corporations lobbying for pro-fraud legislation, the Democrats’ official stance being that voter ID laws are racist because minorities are too dumb to get driver’s licenses and most Republicans being corporate interest Uniparty RINOs, I can only hope Americans like having their elections “fortified” in perpetuity until further notice…
