There was also a massive chimpout in miami beach yesterday ,but it wasn’t because of “police brutality”. This one was done simply because these are all high school/college aged blacks who are out of school for spring break, and they decided that part of celebrating their break had to involve trashing restaurants and twerking in the middle of traffic.

Imagine getting half a million dollars at the age of 18 for simply watching a drug addict (George Floyd) die. This trial is hilarious so far. The prosecution has no defense other than appealing to emotions by calling out the 400+ witnesses who are going to waste the court’s time by telling their sob stories while not providing any empirical evidence that proves that officer Chauvin was the direct cause of Floyd’s death. Chauvin is going to walk free and Minneapolis will experience a Category 5 chimpout the likes of which haven’t been seen since the Rodney King incident.

I’m not convinced he’s getting a fair trial anyway. It’d be politically convenient for the reigning party to find him guilty.
That and you’d be hard pressed to find an unbiased jury, even assuming candidates are honest about having a bias.

The chimpout is likely going to happen regardless of the verdict, because the chimps are out for blood, plus a lot of them are disillusioned in their populist party that, extremely predictably, spat on them in return for their support (because said party’s intention isn’t to help anyone, it’s to keep blacks in the slums because they’re cheaper to get support from this way).

Prosecution demanding they should be allowed to provide those (and somehow found 400 people to cry about it) allowed the defense to bring more GENUINE evidence in favor of Floyd being stupid junkie who dozed himself on beyond-lethal amounts of drugs to avoid getting caught in possession of drugs. USA has precedent law. It’ll be momentarily politically convenient to find him guilty, and spectacularly inconvenient long-term as cops will either stop arresting junkies, or start shooting them outright instead of waiting until the junkie dies during arrest and ruins the cop’s life permanently.

She dropped the idea pretty quickly once people pointed out how it could and would be abused.
