Big Bad Politics!

I firmly believe the best way to push for the common ‘socialist’ policies that get brought up every election is to convince greedy businessmen that free healthcare and education will increase their income, rather than the “US versus THEM” bullshit that both sides constantly screech out on any issue. Convince them that free healthcare will make employees work harder and take less days off. Convince them that free education will result in more expendable workers so you can fire lazy idiots who think they’re untouchable.

Is this idealist and wouldn’t actually work? Probably. Voters are stupid and democracy was a mistake.

Nothing’s free. Government cannot distribute resources without first confiscating them from somebody at the point of a bayonet.

We can say that in some instances this is appropriate, that it’s implicit under the social contract for specific purposes. But we must never lose sight of the fact that nothing is free. There’s no “free stuff.”

The Democrats have spent the last ninety years or so being the “we’ll give you free shit” party. We’ll give you an old-age pension, and it’s free! Did you make babies you can’t feed? Instead of telling you “don’t breed ‘em if you can’t feed ‘em,” we give you free shit! Infinite free shit for everybody forever and there’s no limit! They act like the government has some kind of money faucet it can just turn on and off at will, as if these goods and services weren’t produced by human labor. VOTE FOR US AND GET YER FREE SHIT! How do you do this without turning it into taking people’s money at gunpoint, deducting half of it for yourself, and giving it back to them to buy their votes with “FREE SHIT?” How do you do this without creating perfect tools for exercising power over people? “It’d be a terrible shame if we decided your kid wasn’t eligible for chemotherapy for that awful case of leukemia she’s got, wouldn’t it? Stop criticizing the government or else.” How do we prevent this from being abused? The Left in this country doesn’t respond to these very important questions by engaging in reasoned dialogue in good faith. They skip right to “conspiracy theorist” and other dismissive name-calling. This raises red flags for me. Maybe I’ve just got a nasty suspicious mind.

I know it’s not free, the cost goes straight into taxes. But nobody understands what you’re talking about when you call it anything more accurate. I don’t have an answer for the rest, but I’d take the possibility of getting fucked by the government in the future over the actuality of getting fucked by the insurance company. I don’t think I need to explain again how much I hate insurance companies.

I don’t want to sound like a belligerent asshole, but please read some history–or speak with people who lived through various “worker’s utopia” societies that were created in the 20th Century.

When your insurance company doesn’t like you, you get a new insurance company. When your government doesn’t like you, you get a ride in a cattle car to a “re-education camp.”

“The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result.”

“The FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of Donald Trump.”

There are people who have spent every day talking about January 6 ever since it happened, and now talk about it more than ever, as if it’s the most historically momentous event ever rather than a 3-hour riot that got put down, Hardly unique in 2020 or even the aftermath of the 2016 election.

This man, Often used as the face and example of the capitol hill rioters…

Is a a former Democrat. From the southwest. A thoroughly confused, useful idiot that grabbed some attention by looking like a clown. He was on either side at different times but ultimately he’s nobody but a dumbass in need of psychiatric service.

When he was there on 1/6, he did almost nothing, same as most. He’s been tried, convicted, and sentenced.

… For no violent crimes. Trespass and interfering with a government function. 8 months. He wasn’t charged with any kind of incitement or violence. Just trespass and interfering with a gov’t function. Almost no one that’s been picked up since has been charged any differently. Given the video of CP letting people past some of the baricades, many will walk.

it it wasn’t organized, injuries were minimal, damage was minimal, and almost no one was armed; And the Gallows was a prop that couldn’t behead a rat and no more extreme a statement than this..

The rhetoric of some of the rioters was extreme. The protestors for Trump’s election set buildings ablaze And the Kavanagh hearing protesters also marched on capitol hill and were allowed entrance to capitol hill., neccesitaing arrests when they caused disturbances.

After Floyd’s death, the riots and protests at the white house were so bad, the secret service put the President under lockdown.

None of these were called an innsurection. Like the capitol hill riots, There was a noisy minority of agitators. The overwhelming majority of the crowd was peaceful. There’s footage of Buffalo boy having an amicable chat with CP and declaring they’re lack of intent to cause damage.

There are videos of dozens of people saying the same, of CP removing baricades and opening doors, of people peacefully milling about like it’s a goddamn tour.

There was violence, but the proportion and severity has been blow out of proportion. The rioting in dc 4 years prior was orders of magnitude worse and there was worse rioting all accross america in 2020. God only knows how many officer suicides (David Dorn was murdered live and on video. Two Vegas officers were jumped and murdered. WAY more than one officer died in 2020) and huge swathes of officers quitting along with dozens of murders. The only reason many people think this one is special is because the media told them to.

First off, sauce?
Second, it’ll be interesting to see who it really was coordinated by. Assuming they get it right. The FBI is a fucking joke.

Which week? The very first week in office, Biden signed all those executive orders doing so much damage to… practically everything and now last/this week. I’m pretty sure there are many other weeks in between as well.

They aren’t going to write shit about his failures. What they will include, however, is his reversal of the ban on trannies in the military during the flood of executive orders in his first week, which never happened in the first place.

Ah, but that’s where you’re wrong. The left has a severe compulsion to consume & expel their own. Especially when their own embarrass them. Fifty years from now you’ll be hearing how Biden was “really a right-winger at heart” as they tear him apart and pretend that his election was somehow the right wing’s fault. And quite possibly try to claim Trump as their own all along.
