The criticism of civilization, technology and industry has a lot of truth.
But there is no way to return to tradition. Civilised people will never be able to survive in nature.
Maybe civilised people will die out, and only the most primitive populations will remain.
Or maybe the dying civilisation will cause human extinction.
But either way, it’s over for us.
Yes, there is a lot of truth to that, but which criticisms are valid and truthful? Why must civilization die out. Ted K., as right as he was about many things, such as the abuse of power by many technocratic headmasters, and certain aspects of environmental damage, I don’t think that all civilized people are incapable of learning to survive in nature. Plus, Ted became a tad overzealous in his bombing of people who were in newer tech. Not all progress is actually good, that’s for sure, but change is the law of the universe, ultimately.
>Its over for us.
Ok sure, be like that, Doomer. Say what you will, but I don’t think all or even most post industrial tech is evil or bad in and of itself. What usually matters most is how its implemented. There are other factors besides industrialization, mind you, and if you want, you could leave your city, town and become a hermit in the woods.
