Hello all! A bit late on making a proper post about this, but the collab is still going to happen if we get the submissions for it.

We do have a background made already for this one. It has been posted in the Ponybooru Collab 2025 channel on the site’s Discord if you wish to see it. It’s a flying airship with the pink, purple, white color scheme of the site’s logo. Dunno how well Discord image links work, but I will try to here:

Rules are mostly the same as the previous collab:

OC characters only.
MLP themed characters only. If you have something that deviates from that, either draw them as a race from MLP or try to make them as MLP styled as you can.
Safe images only.
Transparent backgrounds for your submissions are ideal so they don’t cover other characters or the background up. Ask if you need help with this.
No real limit on amount of character submissions… you can make multiple groups or individuals.
Several flying spots open, currently no limits but might change if we get too many.
Community OCs are fair game to draw. (FoE characters, Fluffle Puff, Nyx, etc.) As long as a character is generally considered a community OC, they should be fine to draw.
If you wish to draw art with someone else’s OC, simply ask them first as I won’t have their answers. (my OC’s are fair game if you want to draw them for me)
TAG your submissions when you upload them here. If you don’t then I might not see them to add to the collab.

No AI submissions. This is an art collab for actual artists and not for some program you found online.

For now, either message me through this forum if you have a question or through the Ponybooru Discord’s collab channel. If you don’t feel comfortable publicly asking something, then feel free just to direct message me on here and I will try to answer when I can.

Making a message here when you make a submission is optional but would be fine if you did. Just make sure your tagging is properly done. Not just the collab tag but all relevant ones for your submission - artist name, OC name, race (if not simply obvious), etc..

Just to make it sort of a general tag venting thread, while also addressing a glaring issue with certain tagging that popped up on derpi.

A discussion happened where an issue came up with a transed character. Issue? You have to make no sense for it to get tagged “properly” with the given tags on the site. The solution used was tagging the image with futa, which the tagger knows it’s not that and even AGREES it isn’t, anyone else with a lick of sense knows that, and it’s even something both sides agree on whether you’re pro- or anti- on the trans thing.

Actual solution: For the ~4k trans images, remove male and female where applicable. Just like with futa, no implication to the normal binary sexes. No gay/lesbian. New tag needed for trans relations. All easily doable when you have the ability to instantly create any tags on the site for any reason. Why this wasn’t done? Couldn’t tell you.

As to the why it bugs the hell out of me: It’s been obvious since the beginning that trans women/men wouldn’t be considered woman/man. Why? Because it needed a separate tag in the first place. If they’re male/female, it wouldn’t need the distinction.

Going even further, there isn’t any point outside of self-inserts or some sort of storytelling that you would force the trans trait onto a drawing instead of using the fantasy body builds like futanari or dickgirl for females and cuntboy or busty boy for males. So if it’s not to actually see or make some sort of a story or “vent” art, the reason to make and/or search it up is based on some kind of newer specific fetish that’s only come about in recent years. I’d also add that it’s probably related to corruption or something but that’s a whole ass different discussion.

I really hope I’m not the only one to have this issue.

Why is it that whenever the Gameloft game gets updated, it screws up the ads for rewards. Ads become disabled, being unable to receive rewards & time skips.

The amount of times this has happened to me in the past couple of months is pretty annoying.

Has anyone tried subscribing to creator on that site and failed? I tried and it does work on one creator so I’m asking if there’s a way that’s guaranteed to work for all.

I just wanted to start a poll. Maybe this could become a political shitpost thread or something, I dunno.

It would also be funny to come back in the future (if the site is even still up in the future) and see how well or poorly the poll aged.

Ponybooru has some better functions, but went down several times in the past and other boorus were stable. Has Ponybooru gotten stable now, and will be stable in the future? If so, it’d be great!

BTW, I want to edit the title yet cannot find the button.

I would like to know if tag posts with “thin thighs” “skinny legs” and other such tags would be ok. The site rules on tagging didn’t seem to require me asking. But not asking before tags (even though I didn’t make (m)any invalid tags) was what got me banned from e621 so I wanted to make sure.

EDIT: on one’s told me no in 17 hours so I’m going to assume it’s fine. Don’t no one dair band me. I tried.

The Pony Archive, Ponybooru and the rest of the pony stuff supported by subscribestar / patreon are entirely separate bills and will still need (you)r support for a while. End goal is to be a giant webhost and can just go out on our own, but that’s still a ways off, if ever. Ain’t forgetting where I’m coming from.

Yeah I have some patches planned for the site, including fixing the rendering queue bug that’s leaving images stuck unrendered. It’s been busy working 70h weeks between two jobs. Sorry.

Uploaded art of my OC made by an anon and forgot to tick the anonymous upload option.
I’ve set the image to hidden which is funny because now I can’t find it and link it. If a mod wouldn’t mind yeeting that from my account it’s the most recent upload of my OC Synthwave sitting on a giant cup of noodles. Trying to reupload tells me there’s a dupe but I can’t select it. I assume that’s because it’s hidden.

What the thread title says. I’m interested in getting everyone’s condensed thoughts about the pony fandom as a whole. For research purposes, naturally.
