Report: Appeal of incorrect moderation decision by artist, involving DNP.  
Action taken: After close comparison of the art in question, reviewal of our rules, and input from the artist(not editor)we have come to a final ruling.  
Per Rule #2:  

 
This edit falls under our defined guidelines for fair use, no major thematical changes have been made. The editor has made slight changes and unique contributions to their edit that differentiate them from the original, such as hair, muzzle shape and the flag’s decorative details. Additionally the edit does not appear to intentionally be designed to cause an issue either with the site, users, or the original artist. We cannot in good faith argue the divisiveness involving the theme of the super straight pride movement. Ponybooru does not and will not side with one sexuality’s pride over another. Pride is a personal prerogative and to make a judgement call on whether ones pride is offensive or not is not becoming of an impartial judgement.

It is a violation of rule 2.

A DNP-list that someone can just edit their way around seems like a recipe for trouble and rife for bias on the part of the moderators. I find that concerning.

We have made no edits to any DNP list involving this artist today. In fact, the DNP involved has only been added to, because their original DNP filing was categorized as “other”. A good faith edit, after undstanding why they wanted the dnp; was made yesterday I believe, adding an additional DNP category under the category of “Artist only”. This allows our system to automatically reject any upload made by someone who is not the artist. That is to my knowledge the only edit to their DNP that has been made.

What that comment meant was “if you can just edit an artist’s work to bypass a DNP, it isn’t much of a DNP”.

Report: Blatant hate art made due to the OC owner’s association to a community, user who posted this has done this multiple times now, every post was deleted from Derpibooru for this reason alone.
 
Action taken: The art piece in question is an original, not edited*; artistic expression of free speech and opinion. The OC’s tag has been removed out of respect for the OCs Owner. There is, to the extent of our opinion, no tangible attack on the OCs owner other then the associated oc tag. Users are encouraged to filter nazi imagery if they do not feel comfortable viewing said themes.
 
*additional context: this log entry was edited by me multiple times, because the original action taken reason was not to a standard I or the other team members were happy with and was also conflated with a different report. .

The edit in question is that of a pride flag. That is not a major thematic change. Pride to my knowledge and many others is not a mater of political stance anyways, its deemed a matter of expression and human rights.

Wow. Removing an OC tag is not respect for an OC owner, it is more disrespectful than anything, because the OC owner has to live with it still being allowed to exist on this site as if it isn’t causing her harm (which it is, actually, seeing the original report description there.)

We do not remove art work that expresses artistic freedom. Harassment and by association offense, is taken not given. We do not censor artists and their individual expressions. If you would like to have the images appearance altered to no longer reflect your oc, please contact the artist in question, however; we cannot provide any guidance or support for such requests.

You all can call it “REEE’ing” all you want, your staff are showing only true disrespect here

I guess I understand why it’s so much trouble dealing with their kind for you, people, here. You are forced to treat them fairly and humanely. Obviously, that’s not my ideal method of dealing with troublesome populations, so it’s difficult for me to grasp the concept that people actually have to deal with those creatures in any way other than a harsh punishment for daring to misbehave and call attention to themselves.
 
Their kind whine about oppression, yet they have no clue just how much freedom they truly and undeserving enjoy.
 
Put me in charge and oppression for all, then they’d have something to whine about.
 
General Rule: Actual oppressed people don’t get to whine about how oppressed they feel. They don’t dare.

Just because offense can be taken where none was meant, doesn’t mean it can’t also be intended and it should be recognized as deliberate when it was.

I’ll repeat again, the hate art in question here: IT WAS DONE TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE BY ONE SINGLE USER, all forms of it have been taken down by Derpibooru for the reason that it was harassing people all related to one little community this user hates
 
This same artwork has been uploaded here, and now that one person is trying to take it down with the main explanation, none of staff want to listen and have chosen to disrespect said person affected by the harassment in play.

i understand not deleting potentially offensive comments that are not directed towards anyone in particular, but apparently if someone insults you and you get upset, sorry pal, that’s your own fault
