I want a badge that consists of a teaspoon gripped by an iron gauntleted hand. The text can simply read “IRON FIST”. All caps and bold.

In terms of a shitposter badge, I never was a fan of the duck when we’ve long had the personification of shitposting:

In a sense, that’s exactly how the extended fandom started. And the “OC” was very rapidly converted into a background community figure as different artists ran with it. But that’s a discussion for its own thread. My sleep deprived mind is just pointing out an identifiable icon for a silly badge that isn’t based off of a meme popularized by the currently sinking ship, (edit) which itself has roots in a “duckposting” meme that can be traced back to 4chan as well.

Oh yeah I agree. The shitposter badge shouldn’t be something inspired from derpi. Also I didn’t know duckposting was a thing outside of derpi, tbf

S’all good, it’s hard enough to properly source images, let alone keep track of fandom-centric memes, when we’ve been traditionally splintered across tumblr, /mlp/, /mlpol/, twitter, poni/derpi, discord, mlpg, and more, and been subject to so many purges and schisms. Honestly, out of all the fandoms I count my self as belonging to, MLP has got to be the most fractured of all.

For me that honour would have to go to JJBA. I think it just comes with the “we’re present everywhere” vibe those two fandoms have.  
EDIT: JJBA is just kinda everywhere, and I’ve yet to find a central place where to talk about it

Give the flexible badge to everyone who shows interest in flexibility, lol! My dark, greedy side would like muh spechul badge but if it exists then perhaps it should be given to whoever wants to be flexible.

Hey, I treasured my shitpost badge on derpibooru. I worked hard for that.  
I do think an art badge is a good idea. To prevent badge creep, it would be nice if users could only select up to three badges at a time.

I want thread badges.

Give me a Lyra badge.

Honestly I don’t think we’re going to get muh spechul badge like they gave the mods and their clique in derpibooru. Probably too much to handle and would be unfair to many. That doesn’t mean I don’t still want it to spite Joey/Blossomforth, kek!

Yeah. I’d mostly want a commemorative slash “ha, in your face” badge. Custom or special badges would probably be too much.

I’m just confused on two things…  
What even is badge creep? I use mobile and have zero UI issues. Is it just people jealous and tired of seeing users with more than 3 badges?
 
Also why do people talk about the duck badge like it’s a good thing to have? Some users go out of their way to avoid users with that badge
