Uh, are you paying attention to China? There is very clearly a Russo-Sino alliance in play, even if it isn’t official. You can speculate about who tops in the bedroom, but they both have a similar long term goal and similar short term plans (invade old territory now controlled by America). They’re each other’s markets for goods they now can’t trade elsewhere and they’re forming a semi-united monetary system.
I’m not sure if letting the West hang itself was the initial plan in Ukraine. I don’t think it was, initially it was probably to shave off some territory and destabilize the rest of the country, but it does look like causing Western political instability became the plan once America/Europe overreacted and started slapping themselves while yelling at Putin to stop hitting them. Whichever bright spark in Europe decided not buying gas from Russia would hurt Russia more than them should probably be investigated as a possible Russian agent.
This isn’t even touching on India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela. Those and more are either siding with Russia for pragmatic reasons or using this as an opportunity to air their grievances with America’s past actions.

I don’t like the Soviets. In fact, I don’t like Russia. Maybe I would even support Ukraine if it wasn’t openly being propped up by the same people that want me and people like me to die off. On the surface, they definitely sound like they would agree with me on many issues. However, I take the stance that whatever the EU-US wants is likely bad for me, because their end goals are bad for me. I also look at Russia and see a country with far less cultural degradation and social decay than any Western country. Russia is still Russia, but America, France, Britain, and Germany are increasingly not themselves. That doesn’t mean I necessarily like what they’re doing, but it definitely means I hope they make some headway and hope they don’t suffer “regime change” like other countries that challenged the Ziocracy.
As for equipment, these kinds of arguments are just straight propaganda and wishful thinking. It’s clear to anyone objectively watching this that Russia doesn’t want to actively engage Ukraine. Why is that? Propaganda on their part and politics. Russia got shit early on for attacking aggressively and looks to have taken the stance they would rather fight with attrition than direct attacks. Or they had, until Ukraine attacked their bridge. Now they have plenty of missiles capable of hitting single buildings on the opposite side of the country. I can’t say anything about their tanks, or even planes, but their missiles seem to work fine.
Most of this shit is just that, shit. You’d shit on Russia if they were steamrolling Ukraine because oh no muh civilians Russia mass murderers, but you shit on them not doing so because lol look their equipment sucks they can’t attack. I’ve heard this a million times, often both ways from the same person, depending on the events of the previous day. It’s predetermined that whatever happens, Russia is wrong and sucks, so facts don’t really matter and Western state-run propaganda headlines are used as window dressing for the argument. It’s a joke. Let’s at least try to be objective.
When it comes to the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, you realize it was effectively a concentration camp, right? Was Hitler a lover of the Jewish race for building them special housing? I wouldn’t endorse most Soviet policy, but that’s a weird criticism to make, especially when I doubt you agree with what you think I believe. This is Twitter-style argumentation.
