I love C-SPAN. I love that they let anyone call in (except that one host who cut off people who pointed out that she cuts people off, and you can see her face get twisted into a neckbeard of hate as she was called out) and say the most off the wall, crazy shit you’ve ever heard. Every time I think I might be crazy I watch C-SPAN and realize I’m not crazy, the people calling in are crazy.

Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, Tim Pool and other pro-Trump political talking heads have been named in a DOJ indictment as receiving millions of dollars from Russia Today via shell companies to push pro Russian talking points.

Except that the red ones don’t seem to truly care about fiscal responsibility anymore (they love to spend heavily on the police and military.) Hell, very few Reps are even campaigning on fiscal responsibility. They spend too much time on race and religion these days. I hate the religious right, which is why I might vote for Turd Sandwich this time.

It’s not a symbol of fiscal responsibility, it’s “HERE WE GO, CAPITALISM, HERE WE GO, HOO! HOO!” The US has super duper capitalism and tens of millions of people are brainwashed to believe it’s socialism. Somehow in the 1950s when we had strong unions, profit sharing, and government investment in infrastructure and raising up the middle class and regulations on businesses and 90% top tax rate that was “capitalism”, but today when regulations are being cut, taxes are being cut, unions are being destroyed, our infrastructure is crumbling to dust, and 50 people have half the wealth on the entire planet that’s “socialism”. (Neither is socialism, but what we have today is far, far less socialistic than what we had in the 1950s.)

Republicans WORSHIP billionaires. I remember in 2020/21 the head of the Nevada GOP jizzed her pants over Jeff Bezos taking tax payer money to put a dick-shaped rocket into space saying “Capitalism, not socialism, put men into space today,” which is retarded because Bezos only built his rocket because it was subsidized by the government, and socialism really did put men into space first, before Bezos was even born.

That’s like the only 3 things republicans care about: making sure billionaires get as much money as possible and have zero accountability, drilling for oil, and “owning the libs” on social media. That’s it. Maybe throw defending Israel at all costs in there and kowtowing to TERFs, but that’s really it.

The Dems are even simpler. All they care about is abortions. As long as abortion on demand up to birth is legal they don’t give a whole wet bucket of shit what other policies are in place. Democrats are literally single issue voters.

We really need actual conservatives focused on solid fiscal policy, domestic jobs and war hawkish pressure on Russia and China, the shit the right used to be really good at.

Just as we need the Left to pull their heads out of their ass and go back to health care, housing, community support and access to education and training.

People have had their brain melted by all the ephemeral hyper real Internet shit and we’re fighting with imaginary goblins while our housese fall over from disrepair.

His wife is in the Netherlands with the 2-3 year old daughter he has repeatedly said is his biological child. The person he was with (who was wearing a stupid T-shirt with Styx’s face on it) is someone else he claims is his girlfriend, though she didn’t seem too thrilled with how handsy he was.
