Probably. People also think that Transgender people are being literally genocided, which a cursory look around me tells me that they are not.

As a supposed fascist and someone who’s probably far-right, I can say, that the only other extremists, I’ve seen around these days are far-leftists. Most of the people labeled Nazis and fascists aren’t even that extreme. I once told someone that all the “far right” people that the left cries about would probably stand against someone like me and try to help and protect the left, due to my desire to exterminate and, in some cases, enslave them. Their enemies would end up as their best allies.
And I don’t consider Donald Trump a step in the right direction, rather the opposite. He brings economic stability. In order for the masses to turn to more radical solutions, they must be tired, hungry, penniless, fearful and angry. When people are healthy, well-fed, sustained, hopeful and happy, they have no need for an extreme, who in their view will only bring unnecessary problems.
After the masses have lost everything.

I am not too familiar with the system of who gets to be candidate for the presidency, but democratic party has to switch out Biden if they want any chance to win. 4 years ago i didn’t like either candidate, but i at least i didn’t doubt the mental/physical state of Trump or Biden. But Biden is fuckin mess now.
Generally Trump is very likely to win as things are now and i don’t think it can be worse than with Biden at the top. Last couple elections both parties really gave the mericans two terrible choices.

I overheard a coworker a couple weeks ago admit he knew Biden has dementia but he’s still voting for him anyway because orange man bad. They’re not going to let Trump win, even if they have to murder him like JFK.

The major parties hold primary elections, where each state votes for a candidate. Whoever wins the state gets to appoint delegates who represent that state at the party’s convention in the summer, and delegates usually vote for whoever appoints them.
All of the primary races are over and all the delegates have been assigned, so the conventions are just a formality where the candidate who won the primaries is officially declared to represent the party in the November general election. (Though enough candidates drop out by the end of March that the race is already over by that point)
One bad debate performance isn’t enough to sink a campaign on its own. The news cycle is fickle and we’ll probably be talking and thinking about something else in October. Also, there seems to be enough support for Biden within the Democratic Party that he will probably be the nominee.
Everybody seems to have forgotten the 2020 Democratic Primaries, where everyone was saying the same things about Biden, yet he was chosen because, out of all the people they had who were willing to run, he was seen as the least bad.

Trump will win. Anyone who says otherwise will be put on a list and will be remembered when they inevitably change their position. Never forget, never forgive.

Accelerationism does not work. There is no point where it gets bad enough people “wake up.” It will simply degrade into SA or Brazil over several decades.
Civil war, revolution, total collapse, WW3, etc is all fantasy. We shouldn’t want things to get that bad either. It would be the perfect opportunity for foreign governments to try and stake a claim here, or try and influence us in other ways.

Remember how bad things got in Venezuela a few years ago? Maduro didn’t go anywhere.
It’s almost as though the poor spend all of their time and energy just trying to survive, and politics is just a hobby for the middle and upper classes who have the disposable income and leisure time to dedicate to it.
There is no point where it gets bad enough people “wake up.”
Exactly. The regime has enough staying power to outlive every outrage-of-the-week. We experienced a burst of pure, unadulterated anarcho-tyranny four years ago, and the only organized mass pushback against any of it was, literally, a bunch of bronies arguing over censorship on a porn an art site. Everyone else cowered in their homes, too afraid or demoralized to push back against the thugs destroying their country or the government that refused to protect them.
Trump will win.
Although I would rather have another four years of Trump than four years of Biden, I’m very pessimistic of any predictions of victory, given what happened in the last election (see UrbanMysticDee’s previous post for details).
Anyone who says otherwise will be put on a list and will be remembered when they inevitably change their position.
Put me on that list, then. If he ends up getting chosen by the Electoral College in December and is inaugurated on January 20th, 2025, I will concede that I was wrong. But if neither of those two things happen, I get to say, “I told you so.”
Never forget, never forgive.
Will you even remember this conversation in five months?

Yeah, but its not just one debate, Biden has been showing again and again that old age got the better of him. I am sure there are many that rather have a vegetable as president than Trump, but i still can’t see Biden win at all.

I think things are irrevocably fucked and it’s time for Rome to burn.
Never in history has a society gone on forever, we’re just not capable of sustaining it, every so often like a forest the old wood has to burn down to make way for something healthy to grow.
Too much convenience, comfort and safety have made the people docile, neurotic and spiteful and we need a few generations back to scrounging in the ruins to remind people how lucky they are to have all this cool technology.
Doesn’t have to be forever, China’s a great example of an empire that has crumbled and reformed multiple times and still made progress each time it came back.

Who wins the election comes down to who wins 6 swing counties. That’s it. That’s how Biden won last time. 6 counties shut down the polling places, kicked out the Republican polling officials, nailed boards over the windows, and “somehow” when they opened up again Biden got a couple hundred thousand extra votes where all the other spaces were left blank and they were 100% for Biden with 0 for Trump, and the number of votes he received violated Benford’s Law, which is the gold standard for election integrity, and magically after the election Youtube statisticians and mathematicians came up with bullshit excuses why this one election is the one and only ever exception to Benford’s Law.

British people cry themselves to sleep every night knowing that low birth colonial farm boys kicked their asses out of America twice, then saved their asses in two world wars.

The fact they are so retarded that they repost a paid dem shill to prove right they are and will call the other side morons. It would be funny if it was not so sad at this point.
It do be like this way too often.

Biden himself has gone on tantrum and hating most of the American public and they still believed he was the best person for the job up until recently or it was CNN’s fault for not giving him enough answers.

We just elected the least shit option in good ol’ bongland, bet you Americans wish you had a less shit option between a senile sex offender with a criminal record and a even more senile sex offender who has dodged charges so far.
