No, gas prices have been steadily rising for months now. I’m pretty sure they’re 60 cents higher now in my area than they were in December.

The same people who say Russia is corrupt, incompetent, is fighting with shovels, and has already lost millions of men against a granny with a potato gun and a video game character are saying that if the US doesn’t spend infinity dollars on the army we were told for 8 years are literal Nazis then the incompetent Russians will march to the Rhine in 7 days.

It’s all bullshit. Both cannot be true.

The arguments that real Socialism has never been tried, or that Socialism only failed because of Capitalist sabotage. They are disgusting. These arguments are designed to deflect blame and avoid personal responsibility. But then again, avoiding personal responsibility is what Socialism started all about. You can deflect blame for a time, but eventually, it will catch up to you. And when people have to eat their pets and expired pet food just to stay alive, the “It’s not Socialism’s fualt” excuse is just sickening.

I think the ancap/tradright types are really trite with the “socialism never works” claims. Capitalism doesn’t work, either. Everything works as well as it is intended to where it is used. Socialism simply appeals to (and more easily controls) shitholes, so go figure it would be associated with shitholes. Capitalism brings the bread and circuses necessary to maintain a “first-world” slave class of, ultimately, propaganda creators.

I said it before. The problems in politics are not systematic or ideological inherently. They’re people problems. Let the wrong people lead you, especially people who openly despise you, and you will be a slave with a short life span. The worst systems can work if run by good leaders who care for the people and the best systems will destroy their nations if led by those who seek to do so.
