I totally agree that Bay Street ought to be carpetbombed (in Minecraft), but I was under the impression that the rest of the country had a lot of grain and cattle and timber and fish and oil to export, not to mention maple syrup, singers, actors, and hockey players, and generally enjoyed a higher standard of living than their southern neighbors.

To be fair the real problem is that everything is starting to lean more towards state administrated goods regarding some sectors and subventions made by the state on certain matters (AKA, subtly leaning to the centralist and state directed economic decitions like socialism).
Cronism is technically sepaking taking capitalism and implementing socialist central control administration based on “saving the strategic economic sectors by maybe not really fully controling the private sector but rather being a paternalistic government with clear favorites.”

I would not seriously support the idea Stalin was a great leader, but if we’re comparing ‘communist’ options, he was the best on offer, and probably better than anything available in the modern world. He fought against Trotsky whose ideology is the basis of the modern western left.
You’re aware Stalin’s USSR was an ally of Germany, aren’t you? It was Germany that attacked the USSR, something that turned out to be a poor decision, as the expected quick war to secure an oil supply turned into a bleeding wound of a second front. A second front that the West flooded arms into. Gee, where have I heard that one before.
If we want to play gotcha games, what do you think about the US and UK propping up Stalin and the USSR? If this was really about capitalism vs communism, a golden opportunity was lost, was it not? Why do you think the West would have let the mask slip in that one situation?
As for modern politicians, show me one person who holds elected office in the US that openly criticizes the Jewish control over western media, finance, and politics. You might stand a chance with a couple Muslims, like Omar, but everyone knows Muslims will never control a position of power enough to be a threat. It’s not just my posts, either. If you’re this scandalized by someone having an opinion you’re offended by, maybe you should go discuss politics where people are forced to agree with you. Sounds an awful lot like what we’ve been seeing getting under way with Biden’s administration. What with the ATF taking a zero tolerance policy with FFLs and redefining federal law without congressional approval to reclassify pieces of metal as machine guns, the IRS gearing up with with many more agents, with guns and millions of rounds of ammo so they can supposedly collect revenue, people being imprisoned for political discourse or reclassified as domestic terrorists for going against the political narrative, especially if they’re parents protesting school curriculums, and doctors being dragged into politics and weaponized against the people.
