And to think that sites like Reddit and YouTube used to be good until they were turned into shit. Or actually, were they even good to begin with? It’s only a matter of time before even Tor and I2P either turn into shit or disappear. When that happens, you might as well just stop using the internet, but by then even that won’t be an option because everything will be online only. We’re pretty much fucked and there isn’t anything we can do about it.

Everything is center-aligned now when logged out and site uses hCaptcha now what the actual fuck (at least it’s not ReCaptcha). I’m guessing this is a philomena issue.

I haven’t been on Derpibooru since I got banned but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve done more shit which could be these updates you’re talking about. I’ve already listed shit about derpibooru (read here) so I won’t go over that again. I won’t be surprised if this site turns into shit and becomes Derpibooru-lite. Maybe it wont (although most websites which were once good do turn into shit), but it depends on what your “personal things” are.

Hey I’m just rolling up updates, we don’t actually have to use the body type stuff, I don’t think. Pretty sure we don’t.

Also there will be more updates either tonight or tomorrow night to get the site all the way up to current before I can work on our personal things.
 
Edit: Also, I can make the default left align if you guys really insist. It’s such a small change it doesn’t really matter to me. After a full roll-up of updates I’ll make a strawpoll and a thread for that since I know the change mostly affects anons rather than logged in users. And I need a poll that doesn’t require logging in for proper results.
 
The new color tag is legitimately useless for our purpose so don’t worry about it. It’s just a color, apparently.

I mean, from what I’ve seen about the users here so far they don’t look like the kind of people who abused the donvoting option to still downvote stuff they filtered or hid.  
On derpi, I remember groups of people who mass downvoted stuff they also wanted to hide or filter out of spite.

i never understood most of the changes they do to the site layout, i only use the site on mobile but i heard complaining about the time they forced users to see stuff like rankings and top images on the main page on PCs for no reason at all  
i mean i dont care what piece of generic vanilla porn or generic cute or well done safe mane 6 art is top ranking this week, i care when you force me to see it

We have the option now, but it’ll depend on if we change the colour of the tags. I don’t particularly care one way or another.

There’s a “Use centered layout” tick box on the Settings page, Display tab.

On the plus side, comments seems to be permanently editable now. Yay!

No, it’s still set to center-aligned, but if you have an account it set’s it back to left-aligned, at least if you made your profile before the change, I thought I remembered someone saying that feature isn’t available to newer users for some absurd reason. Or maybe it’s just not set to left-aligned for them by default.

Maybe. I could also be mixing up Furbooru’s retarded UI changes for Derpi, given that both of [their UI changes] have been caused by the same person.

Didn’t they revert that change? I noticed it was back to normal a few weeks ago, unless I forgot I changed some setting.

Derpi changed their default layout to centred back during the drama and if I were to hazard a guess, we’re only just now inheriting that (fucking stupid) change from them due to our update.

Everything seems to be centre-aligned when not logged in.
