Chris’ time in jail, his stay at a mental institution and the medication he was forced to take did absolutely nothing to make him stop behaving like an idiotic manchild and reflect on his actions, so basically give him some time and he will screw up and get himself in even deeper trouble all over again. Plus, he spent 2 years behind bars and got a permanent reputation of being a thief and a geriatric molester that will haunt him for the rest of his life so he didn’t walk away untouched as everyone says.
Yes, he won the case and once again dodged punishment, but at the cost of admiting he can’t qualify as a genuine human being and that too will come back to bite him in the ass once he figures out that “too autistic to stand trial and face things he doesn’t want” also means “too autistic to be trusted to do the things he wants”.

It seems like he’s won. The dismissal of his case is due to him being granted an autism deferral. That means he’s never going to be ruled guilty, and so won’t go on the sex offender registry. Since he’s officially not competent to stand trial, he’s also not competent to live on his own, so he’s going to be institutionalized for life. There’s a possibility that he’s still receiving the tugboat, in which case most of it will be going to pay the home he’s in. If not, he’s just being put up by the government. Either way, homes still dole out some spending money, and he clearly has enough to get a Switch, a Playstation, and to fund a magic card habit. He’s got Internet access, and a place that takes care of him and provides food. He’ll never be homeless, and he’ll never see prison.

As long as Chris doesn’t commit any more crimes, he’s achieved the best outcome he could feasibly have hoped for.

He’s probably in a group home already. He was released from jail back in March and nobody’s reported seeing him living on the street yet. Where has he been living for the past five months, and who keeps giving him money to shop at Walmart?

He isn’t allowed to go back to his old house and his family wants absolutely nothing to do with him, so he’s basically homeless unless the state arranges him to spend the rest of his life on a group home.
So basically he won his fight against the legal system, but at the cost of permanently losing his condition of being legally recognized as a human being.

Well, I took a better look at this and looks like the reason why Chris’s case was dismissed wasn’t because Chris was declared as innocent of all charges but because he was declared to be too retarded and insane to qualify for a trial.

Chris’ case has been dismissed.

Chris is a chronical liar and often admited he likes to lie during evaluations to pretend he doesn’t know any better.
During his college days he often pretended to talk with Sonichu whenever his teachers and dean scolded him for the dumb and creepy things he did, so he could pretend to be crazy and skip responsability. Basically, Chris is smart and malicious enough to deliberately keep a blurry line between his autism and lucidity so he could keep playing the tard card whenever it suits him.

At this point the only thing that could work to get a reaction from him is a sound beating followed by more and more beatings.

The system seems to have no idea about what to do with Chris.
If Chris is deemed to be too stupid to live on his own it means he’s also too retarded to face a trial for the incest case, as law says you cannot put a guy on trial if he’s too disabled to understand WHY he’s facing the judge.
If Chris is deemed to be sane enough to stand trial, it also means he’s sane enough to live on his own, so he cannot reside in a grupal home anymore.

Chris seems to be standing on that thin line where you cannot tell how much is he faking it and how retarded he really is.

Does the system no longer have an obligation to place him, since he wasn’t convicted? They can really just wash their hands of him and dump him on a curb?

Looks like that’s going to happen, as Chris is soon going to be discharged from the group home he’s currently living in, and one way or another he’s going to try to force his way back into his old home no matter if his mom and relatives do not want him back there.
