The human skeletons in Poltergeist were real human skeletons because it was a whole lot cheaper to buy real human skeletons than fake ones.
A movie about ghosts haunting people for desecrating their bodies actually desecrated real human bodies making the movie. Think about that.

Sidney Dillon was an 1800’s railroad executive.
Dillon, Montana doesn’t really have anything going for it. There isn’t really a reason to visit unless you happen to be in the area and need gas or food.

I don’t, but that’s probably not the answer you’re looking for.
So to give you a “real” answer:
  1. The Interstate Highway System
  2. PTO saved up from last year
  3. Best Western Rewards Points
  4. Credit card debt

Robert Redford is still alive (I haven’t heard of him in years). He turns 88 today. He directed A River Runs Through It. I cried. Both times I saw it.

Oh, you mean the actual sand on the coast? We call that a ‘beach’ too.
But if you’re 40 miles inland and you want to tell people that you’re going to the place where the beaches are, we call that region ‘the coast.’

I have no idea. Or why the conscripts would default to using their rifles instead of their sidearms in the first place, but that’s what the numbers said they were doing.

In the 1930’s, Nevada relaxed its requirements to get a divorce, including cutting its residency requirement down to just 6 weeks. The city of Reno became a ‘divorce mill’ for commoners and celebrities alike, and even advertised itself as “The Divorce Capital of the World.”
This, of course, ended when no-fault divorce became standard nationwide in the 70’s, so they started relying more on gambling instead.
Also, in Fallout 2 Reno is a sleazy ghetto with mafia-run casinos and a porn studio, but that’s neither here nor there.

Apples have 5 seed pockets with usually 1-2 seeds per pocket (called “carpels”) because apple ovaries have 5 segments. Apple ovaries have 5 segments because of some complicated science shit. Also apple trees don’t pass all their genes on to their seeds so you can grow wildly different cultivars by planting seeds from a single fruit because each seed might have been the result of pollen from a different tree. Often non-edible cultivars of apples are used to produce pollen, so the seeds from the fruit will produce non-edible fruit. Commercially grown apple trees are most often clones of other successful trees grown from cuttings, not seeds.
