Theoretically, they could just write them off. They’re probably afraid to not release them, though. They skipped the first two Blue Beetles to get to the hispanic kid, and they stubbornly hitched their wagon to Amber Heard two years ago, when the Aquaman sequel was originally supposed to release. Warner already got a taste of that backlash when they killed the Batgirl movie.

“Blue Beetle?” I can’t even muster the interest to google what the fuck that is. I’m just going to picture the blue Beetleborg. I’m confident that they’re much less disappointing.

Warner Bros. is going to be using an AI to decide what movies to make from now on.

Probably. All that DEI would take some doing to keep up with. But at least it sounds like they’re switching to a profit-seeking algorithm. Maybe they plan to blame diminishing levels of wokeness on the machine.

Respect to Deadpool for fixing a bunch of crap the old movies did while at the same time being a love letter to them.
They fixed looks that were previously pretty bad.



Deadpool gave us the best Xavier School suit.

They’re not afraid to present outlandish comic accurate designs, or, may be they were in Shatterstar’s case, most of his stuff was cut.

Domino was a redesigned character in the style of 2000’s superhero movies.

Comic characters translated perfectly to screen.

They also did a great job with it’s own original non-comic characters.

Cameos are cleverly handled and don’t interfere with the flow.

The humor is spot on Deadpool.

Revitalized and brought new attention to a relatively forgotten minor character.

And we’ve now got the first comic accurate Wolverine suit after over twenty years.

Wolverine’s suit doesn’t look bad translated to live-action.

The actors guild just started their strike. It’s too bad the directors guild reached a deal with the studios. We could have had the writers, actors, and directors all striking at once. I wanted to see what a world without Hollywood looked like.

I hope this ends with those CEOs in jail or, preferably, worse. It won’t, but that’s what I want to see happen. The levels of abuse and greed within these companies is inhuman.

The worse part of the Flash was when they used AI the recreate the face of a REAL DEAD ACTOR without permission.

I’m watching the latest Puppet Master movie, Doktor Death.

So far it’s a pretty good slasher flick.
I’m really curious why they decided to give Doctor Death of all characters his own movie. He only appeared in one previous entry, a prequel with other characters that never made another appearance.
I do appreciate that the Puppet Master series is FINALLY out of WWII. Hopefully the next couple entries stay in the present.
There’s a new movie in production, Furnace Leech Woman. I would not have expected them to follow up on Leech Woman’s demise from way back in part 2.

I hope its quality is better than its looks. At least it isn’t the dreary kind of ugly that Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop was. Or plain boring, like their Death Note.

It’s nothing groundbreaking, but the blood isn’t digital this time. There’s some effects that don’t come off the best, but I’m just glad PM is getting back on the right track. The last four movies have all been pretty bad, and this one did alot that I’ve been wanting. There’s only one really glaring thing I have theory about.

I just found out this really cool thing.

WotC just got busted for using AI tools in their latest D&D sourcebook. This would have caused controversy in and of itself, since the audience they’ve been trying to court are the same people who are the most rabid about AI. But the backlash has taken on a special flavor, because this is also the entry that kicked off D&D’s permanent price hike.

Seth Rogen’s race-swapped April O’Neil is causing another controversy. Boxes with a light-skinned, though otherwise unaltered, April toy have been found. The speculation going around is that the white Aprils are a variant meant to be shipped to overseas markets like China, but there’s no proof one way or the other of that yet.

Blue Beetle is on track to underperform Shazam 2’s opening weekend. And some outlets are trying to spin this as a win.
