The Crow is already being called a candidate for worst movie of 2024. It’s opened to an estimated $2 million so far against a $50 million budget. I was looking forward to this one for a long time, until the godawful trailer crashed my expectations.

It’s easily the worst movie of the past several years. It was a chore going through the whole trailer, in which we see:

Hollywood’s obsession with race swapping characters

Unnecessary sex scene

Gallons of CGI blood that looks fake

Eric and Shelly are in some sort of prison, so this isn’t normal people being murdered for standing up to a slum lord, it’s a gang land rivalry. This isn’t The Crow, it’s John Wick with eyeliner.

Eric Draven is a fuckboy with edgy Jared Leto Joker tattoos

Trailer shows the whole movie

It’s the most tryhard pile of dog shit I’ve seen in a long time. It completely misses the point of the story.

Minecraft is getting a film adaptation.

Terrifier 3 is getting good audience reviews and has already made its budget back during the Thursday previews. I guess with Joker 2 face-planting, people are going elsewhere to get their evil clown action.
