A few years ago I saw a cat torturing a squirrel, because cats are sadists. They don’t just kill their prey and eat it, they have to torture it first. I hate squirrels, but this was cruel and unusual so I got rid of the cat. The squirrel was still alive, I saw it breathing. I walked several yards away and sat down to watch it to see if it would live. It did. The squirrel eventually got up and practically dragged itself over to me, which took quite a long time. It stood there staring at me for several minutes and then left to go up a tree.
 
Some time later, months, I ran into the same squirrel. It recognized me. Other random squirrels always run whenever they see a big giant thing walking toward them but this one didn’t. It knew I was the one who saved it and meant it no harm. I don’t think I ever saw it again after that.

Random fact about me:
 
A neighbor once had a rooster and one day he was making those noises they make… Okay, so I began mimicking him but he actually couldn’t see me. So, I mimicked him a few times and I could tell that him was getting upset. So eventually I climbed a fence into our alleyway and went to see him. He was pacing and strutting around in an agitated way, I suppose, but then I mimicked his call right there in front of him. I’m pretty sure he was confused when he finally saw who or rather what had been challenging him that he whole time. He just stopped in his tracks and stared at me without making a sound while tilting his head this way and that way.
 
I think those people moved so they probably took their rooster and chickens with them.
 
I did something similar to an owl once too.
 
Despite being able to mimic the sounds of that rooster and an owl, it’s not easy. In fact, it actually starts to hurt my vocal cords the more I attempt it and each time the sounds become less accurate, at least, to my ear, that is.

I spent two and a half hours last night picking locks. That’s why I went to sleep so late and why my wrist hurts today. I think one of the locks is damaged or defective because it was way harder to open than an identical copy that came in the same package and opens with the same key. Speaking of which, I don’t know where the key is so the only way to open those two locks is by picking them. I need to get some more locks.
 
Never trust those TSA baggage (the ones with the red diamond symbol*) locks with anything. They’re just to keep stuff from falling out. Once you get to your destination put something better on your bags if you want any degree of safety. On the bottom of each lock is a number, usually 007, because there are master keys that open every TSA lock, and anyone can buy a full set of master keys for a few dollars. I hesitate to even call them locks. It takes zero skill to pick them. I had a couple lying around. There’s a button inside, that’s what it feels like, and you just push it and the lock pops open. I found it quicker to open by popping the internal button than actually using the key because you don’t even need to turn anything.

Whenever I’m tired and caffeinated, my right eyelid twitches. Somehow, it’s always my right one.  
Conversely, I’m able to make my left eyelid twitch whenever I want, but I cannot figure out how to do it on my right eyelid.

I have a lock I suspect of being broken as well. I no longer have the key, so I can’t test my theory that it’s broken rather than simply beyond my ability.

I own it. And it’s remake, which was part of a box set of Godzilla movies, include ROODAN. Which doesn’t have Godzilla in it. Those giant worms freaked me out as a kid.
