I was thinking of the East Asian Model (postwar Japan and its imitators), Dirigism, the Attlee Ministry, the New Deal, and the Hamiltonian ‘American School.’ Are any of those ‘socialist?’

It’s a spectrum between Socialism and Capitalism. I wod definitely call the New Deal not fully Capitalist. But not 100 percent Socialist.

I also don’t think it was a good idea.
