Excuses like “Tankies are not real communists” is how they do it in their own heads. Those guys over there have a different interpretation of the holy scripture of Karl Marx, they follow the apocryphal writings of heretics like Lenin and should be cast out from our sacred brother hood!
“X is not a real communist” was the excuse stalinists used when they put trotskyists in gulags. It’s what mao said about half the people he put in struggle sessions. There’s always excuses for why “those assholes over there that keep calling themselves communists and keep what they call the proletariat revolution” aren’t REAL communists. They’re the off brand knock off, so they don’t count…
It’s kind of like christian denominations arguing over who’s the real Christians, only with more murder involved, ironically enough. No amount of religious zealots have ever racked up the kind of high scores Stalin and Mao have.

Well, you realize that actual people had to run and guard concentration camps, right? I’m just saying some of us won’t have issues with “just following orders” if it means liquidating those, we deem as undesirables. I’m not sure why you bring up billionaires, considering that if they’re part of an undesirable group they’ll be arrest and their resources liquidated.

Money wouldn’t protect people if I had my way.

Why are we even speaking of billionaires here? I just don’t like leftists, democrats, communists, socialists, progressives, etc. They ought to exterminated or put in camps and used as slave labor.

Also, you know people have to wear those boots, right? Some of us will sign up as volunteers to serve has enforcement for authoritarian governments because we agree with the system and its goals. There’s few things in the world that entertain me as much as the way communists hate each other. Really.
The way a card carrying member of the SS would look at a Stalinist hardliner is positively friendly, compared to how other types of communists look at each other. And then communists can’t understand how come every communist revolution ends up being followed by a totalitarian police states, ethnic cleansigns and engineered famines.

Pfft Rainbow capitalism isn’t real support, most international companies that uses rainbows for one month, also play ball with homophobic governments, no actual beliefs, just profit. Robots are cheaper to maintain and replace than slaves. No need for food, doctors to keep them healthy enough to work, schools to teach them even basic skills, guards to keep them inline, tons of security measures to keep them from making trouble, and on top of that, people have this unfortunate habit of having their own ideas about what they want to do.
If you use robots, all you need is an automated facility to keep them maintained and functional and maybe a handful of technicians. The robots do everything else.
The idea of sci fi societies using slaves has always been staggeringly idiotic, unless they make all kinds of in universe excuses for why robots aren’t a thing.

And more pressingly, if you think that you are going against the interests of the “billionaires” by being progressive, why is it all the big corporations support progressive causes? Just look at LGBT month and all the companies logos on twitter… Why are all the big media outlets that are owned by billionaires supporting and pushing your narratives? Why do all the big social media sites that are owned by billionaires suppress and ban people for disagreeing with your progressive values? It’s almost as if those progressive values are being pushed BY the billionaires and the companies they own… And why would they take so much time and effort pushing politics that are against their own interests?
Take the BLM riots that the prosecutors somehow won’t prosecute against and that don’t get the crackdown when they riot in the middle of a lockdown, while the anti mask mandate demonstrations did get the crackddown? It’s almost as if a large chunk of the federal state approved of those riots, no? It’s just an example, but surely you can see, something here isn’t adding up…
