You can’t mail anything to Canada anymore because Canada Post’s employees are on strike.
I doubt anyone here was going to mail anything there anyway, so for us it’s a useless fact.
But if you do live in Canada, my condolences.

yeah it’s written, “Free shipping is currently disabled pending the Canada Post strike” on canadian shopping sites. I have only negative experience with canadian online shopping. Last time they sent me a fake sharpening stone without abrasive on it. And before that they phone called me and re-asked my address. I will never order anything from a canadian online shopping site anymore. Canadian imported products are shitty anyway. But I have never been disappointed with any usa’s shipping companies or usa shopping sites and with quality of products sold on those sites. It is also cheaper to order ink for printer on an usanian online site then buying it in the canadian tire.Canadians are just greedy stinky re-sellers while in the USA there are still artisans and their own production, and of high quality. Which is why I respect Wally Wallington and Marvin Heemayer and all other USA’s craftsmen.

In the 1890’s, New Jersey had more electoral votes than Florida and Washington combined. Sounds crazy, right?
However, that was a long time ago, back in the days when Missouri was still culturally relevant and the Prohibition Party could get more than 10,000 votes.

In WW2 the US Army needed chocolate for 12 million soldiers that had indefinite shelf life and could survive in harsh weather conditions from the arctic to the tropics, so manufacturers added a chemical from the human stomach called butyric acid. It made the chocolate taste like vomit but it kept it from spoiling.
So many GIs were exposed to this vomit-flavored chocolate that when they got home they demanded the manufacturers kept the new ingredient in.
In Europe there never was a need to adulterate chocolate because it never gets above 50 degrees anyway and you’re never more than a 30 minute walk from the nearest town, so they kept chocolate made out of chocolate.
That’s why today, 90 years later, chocolate from Europe tastes like chocolate and chocolate from America tastes like vomit.

A recent study of ants’ sleep cycle found that the average worker ant takes approximately 250 naps each day, with each one lasting just over a minute. That adds up to 4 hours and 48 minutes of sleep per day.
