With how a lot of reboots have gone. I won’t be surprised if this is just as cynical as the rest, or the writers vanity project knowing their own creation would be a fart in the wind.

Dizzy Devil is now a non binary character with Them and They pronouns.  
Buster and Plucky are either bi or gay. (Plucky is over the top gay)  
Max also has some strong bi overtones.  
Elmyra is confirmed as not returning.  
The pacing is too slow and the jokes are unfully and badly delivered
 
 
 
 

 
Some people wants to assume that this leaked episode was leaked on purpose to test the waters before the series’s official debut.

Mindy Kaling’s in trouble again. She made a joke about sickle cell anemia on Velma. What’s interesting to me is that the article says that it was in the first episode. If people are only cottoning onto that joke now, it indicates that the people the show was made for, and who have been defending it, didn’t watch it.

They never do. They only look for clips that gave them what they wanted, which is ALWAYS porn fodder.
 
Like where they have “Velma” and “Daphne” making out. That’s been in Fanfics and R34 for years and is obvious a ham-fisted attempt to make Mindy feel like the popular girl for once. I hope she enjoys her infamy.

So complete dogshit, checking diversity checkboxes first and quality is an after thought, but that’s how the formula goes current day.
 
The art style is just yuck, who are these people who mostly use the same line thickness on the whole characters?! Even if subtle, just a slightly thicker outline makes a character pop more towards the background and against his other features that hopefully have another line thickness.
 
As it is now they just kind of meld into the background.

The new Puss in Boots movie is very good. Here’s hoping we get more like it. Maybe Mario will be good as well.

The new TMNT movie looks like hot garbage, as I knew it would be since I saw the leaks. Good things usually don’t leak.

I thought the Turtles themselves were cool. Rocksteady and Bebop work, the animation is good, though it’s that weird choppy animation Spider-Verse, Peanuts, and Captain Underpants had.
The only things I didn’t like were April and Splinter’s designs.

I really got a terrible feeling for that show in many ways.
The humor in particular looks rather crude, particulary the sai on the leg thing.
