Maybe someone on staff has a self-insert, and wants Buster eliminated as a romantic rival. It wouldn’t be the first time one of these reboots had some creepy shit going on in the development process.

I recall idiots Namely furries trying to downplay this and say the showrunner didn’t insert himself in Powerpuff girls as a character Blossom creamed her panties over at the first glance.

Then we see it with shera, Owl House, probably Amphibia, High Guardian Spice and I’m sure others. Twelve Forever was created by a creep who worked on the PPG reboot and that was about you guessed it Yuri Loli.

I remember reading that the cancelled live-action CW PPG reboot also had a writer self-insert that was hooked up with one of the girls. That was only one problem with it, and it was mostly forgotten due to the sensory overload that was every other aspect of the show.

Just furries? I remember hearing years ago about this on other places like 4chan but not directly on /co/ and pre-NSFW purge tumblr, when the PPG reboot was still doing new espisodes, and I don’t think that there weren’t any non-furries who downplayed and denied it. But yeah, you are right on about the poor-mediocre Shera reboot and High Guardian Spice.

That was mostly from personal experience since I was in a group predominantly furries and once one guy said it was fake, everyone just believed him without question.

Cartoon Network Studios truly is dead for real this time. the remaining people are being moved into the same building as a WB workhouse, of some kind. Now its real. Even Nickelodeon still has its animation studios remaining. And who knows when Disney will shut down the Disney Channel and XD?

Most Disney cartoons no one gives a damn about as well. Even when trying to copy anime they fail, making a more boring Isekai with terrible animation, if not a blatantly racist caricatures.

Safe Edgy as always for modern media. This is as predictable as someone getting butthurt that the REIMAGINING isn’t liked by everyone. Pretty soon the western animation will say how it’s doing great because people are watching anime.

On the first point, Regular Show and Adventure time, did last on the network in terms of new episodes until 2017 and 2018, respectively. But damn, did Symbionic Titan get done dirty! At the very least it should have gotten a 2nd season.

Oh, i always thought it was Tara Strong who did Harley from the beginning. RIP, she did an amazing job.

That sucks. I liked her Harley, unlike the modern incarnation.
