I will start with a classic:  

MSNBC’s immediate take on the Will Smith slap was predictable.
 
This one’s just them being retards, but CNN infamously aired an Applebee’s ad during their coverage of the opening of the invasion of Ukraine. As in, not during a commercial break, they just interrupted the invasion to put an Applebee’s commercial in the breaking news box.

 
They didn’t get the joke, and read this on the air in all earnestness.

I need to be fair to foreign media… especially when China’s has lost their mind to this extreme.  

Jokes don’t exist. #RIPJimmyFallon is being reported as fake news about Jimmy Fallon being dead, rather than mockery aimed at his own admission that his audience has been cut in less than half over the past few years.
 
Edit I just realized I got Jimmys Kimmel and Fallon mixed up. Doesn’t matter, Fallon’s audience crash has been even worse than Kimmel’s.

They say the purpose of a headline is to get you to want to read the article. Well, I guess confusion helps with that. I can’t tell if he thinks it is a good thing or bad.

‘Woke mind virus’? ‘Corporate wokeness’? Why red America has declared war on corporate America  
Mostly quoting it for the headline and this gem:
 
“Woke’ – a watchword long embraced by the Black community”  
Because that’s who used it before people started using it as an insult… not the blue haired freaks.
