They should have ended the 89-1990s Batman film series with either “Batman Forever”, or made the decision to kick Schumacher’s ass out of the director’s chair, then shuffled/restructured the writers mainly with people who worked on the DCAU. The director’s chair for making the Batman Forever sequel really should have been manned with either Richard Lester (director of Superman II), John Carpenter, or maybe even given back to Tim Burton.
