God, starting over is shit. I had the algorithm tuned pretty much how I liked it, now my feed is half idiots jerking off about Kathleen Kennedy and her crappy Star Wars flicks, and the other half is comic book fans that hate comic books and want everything to look like Bryan Singer X-Men.

The worst i can say about Twitter right now is that for weeks bot accounts disguised as thots keep following me once or twice a day.

Anyone else get those artist scams DMing you, begging for a commission?

I don’t get those all the time. Only once, they linked me to a D&D site and insisted I vote in some polls, then they disappeared and I haven’t heard from them since.

I have yet to see one of those on Twitter, but they constantly a pest on Discord.

Also a stupid joke tweet is now considered offensive. I think I see now how my old account got itself banned if this is what they consider too extreme.

Apparently a bunch of other people went through what I did.
I liked, commented and tried to share the post but Twitter is already locking down on anyone who liked that post. I tried replying to someone and got a message saying my actions appear automated. I tried to save my reply, but got a message saying it was “invalid”. I tried liking a digimon picture a few minutes later and got the message again saying I appeared automated.

NFT profile pics are no longer allowed.
Not something I personally care about, but this is just blatantly anti-free speech. If someone wants a non-explicit, non-innapropriate pfp, they should be allowed whatever they want to use to express themselves.
Possibly this post was a joke, but no one seems to think it is.

Ah, this clarifies things. Nft pfp’s are still allowed, you just can’t have them in their own special shape. So this is more a case of yet another feature being done away with for no reason.

I would see a reason for it, to distance themselves from NFTs which are just quick cash-grabs and scams. Not that i think anyone even remembered that ppl had these hexagon profile picturs…

Look, we know you want to make the trans idiots feel welcome and accepted by using their inclusive language, but many people don’t. We are the majority of the human race, it’s our world and they’re just living in it. They really ought to know their place and just be happy that they don’t face actual oppression in the Western world.

I just discovered new accounts can’t dm other accounts unless they’re following them. If this was a sitewide thing, I didn’t notice on my old account, I don’t send or receive dm’s often. That’s annoying when I lost the nearly 300 followers I had.
