so, rising of the shield hero is my favourite history for many reasons
and 2 days ago as i was reading halfway through the latest translated volume i realized something, in the latest volumes the villains are more or less SJWs (or atleats it fits the narrative), by that i mean people who believe they are the embodiment of justice so they force it upon everyone and anyone who disagrees even with cold logic is labeled as a villain, which is pretty similar to the twitter kind that started this whole mess
this extract of volume 17 made me realize it (spoilers, duh)
they are even present on my favourite novel

The fact that they mentioned they would rather shut down the site instead of hand it over in a time of crisis hightlights how little they actually care for the fanbase.
They rather burn not only their own bridges but burn other people’s bridges with pony art and their friends just to push an agenda or avoid any kind of compromise with the service they offer.

I’d rather they shut the site down than sell it because I don’t want them to get one red cent. Then after time, when the domain registrar takes it back for lack of payment (if allegedly they’re losing money because hatreon doesn’t want to be associated with their deviance), someone else can get it without having to pay communists.

I don’t care if they get money or not. Right now I’m more concerned about what would happen with the users who doesn’t deserve having a good site getting shut down because of bad management. Money comes and goes, ultimately you have to pay for your food anyway, but the people will have a hard time getting back whta they lost.

Once all the altbooru’s back up all the images from Deribooru and fixing up their server infrastructure. The Users will have alternative sites to jump over. If they actually shut down the site from bad management (which couldn’t get any sooner after this civil war they created and being drop from Patreon). The Derp mods/admins can jump to their Furibooru, that they seem so desperate to go to.

If you wanna ban foalcon and Nazi imagery, just come out and say it. Just say that you are doing it, and do not care what your userbase thinks of it. At least that way, we can at least trust you to be honest. That’s more than I can say for Derpibooru.

Of course it gonna crash and burn, since it ideological driven. It gonna end up like Tumblr, Furraffinity and Patreon at the moment. All because they wanna be the moral arbiters to fight against these evil things and speech they don’t like. Then have a purity spiral, start turning on each other and back to square one to co-opted another fan base. The only fur site I can recommended you is U-18chan, but that site mainly doesn’t favor artists (Due to pirating their content) and only favor people who just wanna see content their.
