Violent racist and homophobic = Disliking a pretty bad artwork and making fun of hollow social movements.
And as Amagan said, racism is something present in Equestria, despite the attempts of Twilight and her friends in keeping the different societies united, because people sometimes forget ponies aren’t the only species dwelling on the world. Violence is present too, although is really soften due of being a show for little kids… Yeah, seems like not even a world where the Elements of Harmony exist with an almost utopic self-sustainable government is free of racism and violence.

>Violently racist and homophobic
Are the usual cons rife with black and gay people being beaten up or something? I don’t remember this.

Many of us don’t like blacks, queers and transsexuals. We are human beings and despite what you may wish, many human beings don’t look upon those particular groups fondly.
And as you’ve stated, it’s just a kids’ show. Why would we, grown adults reshape our entire worldviews just because a cartoon said so?
it’s honestly amazing how many fans of a children’s show about bonding despite differences and the power of friendship are violently racist and homophobic, this is literally just cute humanized art, what is wrong with you people
It’s odd how whenever characters are race switched, they never end up whiter than they began.
Despite being completely random and done purely in the name of diversity, this somehow always remains true.
Maybe once they finaly decide to make a movie about african history that isn’t trying to paint over africa’s own slave trading (Woman King), and make a movie about Shaka Zulu, we’ll see Keanu Reeves in the lead? He will be the best actor available and it’s racist to object to race swaps, after all….

Diversity as a shield might work for Disney, but it doesn’t work around here where we have standards.

You obviously miss just how much racism is actually present in the world of MLP.
