The major issue I’ve always had with Cozy Glow is simply put we never know anything about her past. We never learn why she does what she does. Why does she view friendship in such an extreme manner? I’ve heard theories she’s a grown mare trapped in a filly’s body; kind of like Baby Doll from Batman TAS. Where did she come from? There’s no explanation for anything. The very most they could’ve done was revive the Fiendship is Magic comic line for a special issue looking into Cozy’s past, but they couldn’t do that.
Like I said before; too much potential was wasted in the final season, and it’s something everyone involved should be ashamed of for this mess.
@Fleur de Lis
One thing is the fact that she had so much potential to be an interesting character in the show, and the dipshit writers squandered it. Another is that turning her to stone was retarded and made the protagonists of the show look like hypocritical cunts whose only used their “values” as means to the end of protecting the status quo of Equestria (which ironically matches up with Cozy’s “Friendship is Power” spiel to a t.)

There was never anything more to Cozy Glow than “the villain is a little filly - expectations subverted”.
I don’t understand how anyone can care so much about such a non-character, in love or in hate.
At least her colour scheme is appealing enough, though.

Seriously dude? Cozy Glow is adorable and she’s a child who got turned into stone. She doesn’t deserve a fate like that. She deserves to be reformed. I know she has some good in her. And why are you saying “bleh”? What is so disgusting about an adorable lil filly like Cozy Glow (despite being evil). Unless if your just another Cozy Glow hater just here to troll the people who actually love her.

FIM had some problems toward the end, but Rebecca Sugar would not have improved it. Steven Universe is a show that preys on children by exposing them to overt sexual content. It is not wholesome.

It feels incomplete to be honest. This is My Little Pony. We expect a happy ending for everyone in Equestria including the villains.
They turned a freaking child into stone. Whatever happened to “Friendship is Magic”? I mean, Steven Universe had a happy ending for everyone. And Gravity Falls had a happy ending for everyone (well except for Bill Cipher). Honestly, could you imagine if Rebecca Sugar, the creator of Steven Universe did some episodes for MLP? I could already imagine how wholesome and emotional it would be knowing how much of a work of art Steven Universe was.
And to this day, it’s still one of the most disappointing series finales ever. So much hype built up only to end up lying to the audience, killing a popular character (Discord in this case), and just wasting so much potential. It’s just painful to think that rather than go out with a bang, the show goes out in a whimper.

That doesn’t excuse the fact that they turned a kid into stone when she has so many redeemable qualities as a character.

Bleh….no thanks.

Totally agree. G4 ending were awful.
Yeah like reform Cozy Glow or at least give us an alternate ending that is better than what we’ve got.
