Meet Up-Doo, the child of Fleur de Lis and Fancy Pants! Having grown up in the highest society of Canterlot, Up-Doo was in the spotlight the minute he was presented to royalty and other socialites. But realizing how cruel others could be, especially in circles of wealthy ponies, Fleur did all she could to keep him from the harsh opinions of others. She gave him the liberty to be himself, whether that mean breaking the norms that Canterlot elites clung to like it kept them afloat, or behave like a child when he was a child rather than having to immediately act like nothing more than means to a legacy. Because of his mother’s care and compassion, Up-Doo grew up happy to pass down this love of helping others break the behavior of having to act the way society dictates. While he lives for fancy events, parties, and anything that allows him to socialize and be the talk of the town, Up-Doo is also very clear in his intent to be himself, regardless of the opinions of the elites around him. Up-Doo’s talent follows neither of his parent’s careers, instead focusing on intricate and creative hairstyles to be worn in high society, no matter what the occasion. As his fancy hair-dos often show, Up-Doo regularly practices his new ideas on his own mane and tail before enlisting a list of volunteers to help perfect his designs.
