Basically, they hear how badly Spike is losing his shit over the idea of Thorax and Ember possibly starting a war due to their conflicting personalities, but instead of pushing “Spike, cool it, it’ll be fine.”, they instead work extra hard to play into Spike’s paranoia and keep up the facade until both ember and thorax were also paranoid about something threatening Spike, leading to them nearly fighting to protect Spike.
 
They then blame everything on Spike before discussing their issues, then chew out Spike more when they get back, while twilight and starlight act smug about Spike being wrong to keep them apart.
 
And thanks to the bullshit that is status quo, Spike never sees either thorax or ember in any manner that isn’t a brief business hello after that point, literally robbing him of the only two friends he made through his own efforts, and in The Last Problem, we see that it sticks and he is forever alone with a job where no one gives a shit about his accomplishments and he’s literally ignored by everyone.

I need to remind you that the only reason Spike followed twilight was because Rarity didn’t trust that Twilight could handle everything inside the castle on her own. If Spike wasn’t there, Rarity would have followed Twilight, regardless of what she’d say and she’d have moved Twilight away from the nightmare door.
 
The carrying of the crystal heart was also not important as Spike barely got on the ledge before falling off, only to be caught by cadance. If it was Rarity, it would have been the same thing and ended the same way.
 
The ONLY reason Spike is given the title is because Twilght lied and told everyone that “Spike did everything”.

No he wasn’t. Pay attention to the size of the ice cloud, it’s not even big enough to fill the floor of the stadium. All he did was protect some grass.
 
Spike wasn’t a Hero of any sort until Gauntlet of Fire, where he was willing to give up his life in equestria for his friends and family, and in the process, saved Ember’s life.
 
The one crystal empire related thing Spike did nearly branded him as a traitor to equestria, and was when he chose to defend Thorax, arguably the most important thing he did.
 
Not that either of those friendships mattered in the end as twilight and Starlight sabotage his friendships with them in Triple Threat as that is the last time he sees either of them outside of a “hello”.

I would say tags such as op is trying to start shit are just as debatable on whether they belong here and are also fairly opinionated, not to mention insulting.
 
As for Hotpants, they added all of one tag. I would say both you and Delta are far more complicit in keeping the fight going, no matter who started it.
 
Edit: And because I forgot to add something about it, I should also address your many reports on subjects like this lately. You have been taking up a large amount of our time on frivolous reports of situations that are often as much your fault as they are anyone else’s. I know you feel you have to defend yourself, but often all you end up doing is antagonizing others.
 
Please stop and think before either replying to these things or before sending reports on the subject, for all our sakes.

I’ve read the rules myself that tags that are added have to be fact not an opinion.

If you have a concern with what tags belong on an image, bring it up with mods. If you find yourself becoming angered over this, then go find something else to do until you calm down. Take a break from the site or from the internet in general, if you have to. Don’t have a petty argument.

It was also the first heroic thing that Spike has ever done in the series. And it makes sense why he still talks about it in the later seasons.

Please don’t try and start something here dude. It’s not a battle or anything. And it doesn’t help the fact that OP keeps adding invalid tags like “OP is being honest” or “truth”. They aren’t being honest about anything. And it’s not the truth but just an opinion.

Oh, please. Spike got all the credit for little to no reason. Other characters had just as much a part to play to saving the Crystal Empire, yet they’re just tossed aside for Spike’s role. Twilight figured out where the heart was, ajd found the hidden passage to it, made her way up to the top in lights speed with her up-side-down magic. Not to mention, Twilight passing the burden over to Spike was her OWN idea, and Spike only ran 20 feet onto a ledge and then fell. If it weren’t for Shining Armor throwing Cadence to get the heart. Spike would’ve given the entire Empire to Sombra with one, klutzy, stupid move.

If this is implying that Twilight could’ve just used her telekinesis to toss the Crystal Heart and have Cadence catch it while it’s “free falling” from the tower.
 
Then that would’ve been nearly impossible since King Sombra trapped her in between those dark crystals once she stepped in the circle where the Crystal Heart was being held. Which is also impossible to escape. Even with teleportation.
 
So this wouldn’t have been possible if Twilight hadn’t picked Spike to return the Crystal Heart back to the bottom. And did you forget about how worn out Cadence was from keeping the Crystal Barrier up to protect the city? But then when Cadence realized not only is the Crystal Heart about to be eaten by King Sombra but also Spike about to fall to his death. Then that’s when her adrenaline kicks in and saves both Spike and the Crystal Heart from Sombra.

Finally. Someone with the guts to speak the truth.
