37500931#p37504391 is a 4chan anchor, Desu’s format is 37500931/#37504391. If Ponybooru wants to convert 4chan links then it needs to convert them properly. That’s the problem here.

Well, half of them do. One of them is terrified and the other is ready to beat it with a flaming stick.
It’s literally just replacing “boards.4channel” with “desuarchive” in the link. Also, desu linking is just #, #q is “reply” link both on 4chan and on desu, and it’s not my problem that desu for whatever reason uses a different link syntax than the site it archives.
it has to be “#q” instead of “#p” to jump to the reply that is supposed to be highlighted.
and this always confused me because it’s so consistent across various posts on here and derpi. so i’m wondering if whoever is doing the sources is aware that the links are incorrectly formatted or if it is a quirk of the Chrome Browser that requires “#q” instead of “#p” for some reason
