“So… you think they’ll like me?”
 
“Flurry, they respect you. You’re one of their princesses, after all.”
 
“I suppose you’re going to say something about how I’m your princess?” Flurry Heart groaned
 
“Maybe later…” he kissed her on the cheek, making her blush a bit.

“Mom? Dad?” Penumbra shouted as he walked through the Crystal Empire.
 
“Penumbra, you sure this is the best way to find them?”
 
He shrugged. “They could be literally anywhere. Last time I visited they were on a quest in the Frozen North. At least this time I know they’re in the Empire itself.”
 
“Well, if it isn’t Prince Penumbra Diamante….” the two heard a deep voice from behind. They turned around to see Penumbra’s parents, Prince Sombra and Princess Radiant Hope standing right there behind them.
 
“Dad!” Penumbra hugged the two tightly. Flurry coughed, indicating that he’d forgotten something. “Oh, right. Mom, Dad, this is my marefriend-”
 
“Princess Flurry Heart!” Hope bear-hugged the surprised pink alicorn, almost knocking her to the ground. “Your highness! So glad to see you again. It’s been so long, what, six months? Not since you came back from the caves!”
 
“Nice to see you too, Princess.” Sombra simply bowed a bit and shook her hoof once his wife released her.
 
“You two are so cute together!” Hope beamed at her son.
 
Penumbra’s face scrunched up slightly. “Mom…”
 
“Son, remember what you learned in school, yeah?”
 
“DAD!” Penumbra flushed bright red.
 
“Uh..” Flurry had the same reaction, eyeing her coltfriend awkwardly. “Is he talking about…”
 
“Yes, yes he is.”
